This looks pretty hot to me. Unfortunately I have nothing but problems when it comes to PS3 multiplayer (I can't figure out why) so I'll most likely pass on Starhawk.

If you guys use the html5 option, it's as if nothing has changed. Skip around and whatnot.

Seems interesting...maybe I'll pick it up in a year or so when it's $20.

That server was like 5v3.. don't think he was trolling..

This game looks pretty cool. May rent it.

The HD in this new player doesn't look very HD. Will there really be no youtube uploads of this stuff anymore?

It's the GameSpot video player. Alex claimed that when it's working, it will function much better than the old Flow player. I'd rather they got this one working before rolling it out. The textures in 720p on the site are horrible. Very blocky. When you play the same video over on YouTube, you can see a massive difference.

So, this is what would happen if Freelancer and The Outfit had a child. Finally... That question is answered.

I love how Jeff joins a server with 2/16 players and is then somehow surprised there are so few people playering.

I gotta say, this game looks really striking. The transforming mechs and the buildings dropping from orbit and the explosions from the tank and how everything, just... I really want to see more of this game. I think I might even enjoy playing it, based on the players-build-the-base element and how awesome it looks when that stuff is happening. Very cool.
 
As much as I like Minecraft, I have to second the vote for a Starhawk TNT.

Wow I didn't know anything about this but it looks FUCKIN BOSS! It looks like Trenched but you can turn into a jet!

This game is awesome, been playing it as much as I can since Tuesday. Dropping buildings from the sky never gets old, and I like that it's another avenue for players to help their team besides shooting dudes. Still haven't squashed a dude with my drop pod, but not for a lack of trying!

Jeff's "getting the jetpack" music comment was funny, now that's all ill be able to think about when I do that in game (which is a lot).

What does that coat hanger symbol mean, "abort game"? Hey-o!

Is this part of the site redesign? What was wrong with the old player?

I have to say...I'm really digging Starhawk's menus. They look cool and you can jump between modes/matches at any time. The multiplayer looks pretty fun, but this game is not coming out at a good time.

This game looks pretty cool. One step closer to making the RTS not only work, but be fun to play on consoles.

Nice weapon reports, too. Good rebounding echoes in the canyons.

@Sammo21: I wouldn't list sequels, its the same series so yea their gonna do the same thing (and Infamous was one of the two I was talking about so why list one I spoke about. the other I was talking about was R3 but I never made that clear), Motorstorm you got me on, I never played Motorstorm. I also wouldn't count a crap Move game as a real game but that's just me and a DLC game isn't a full game either.

as for Sony owning the IP, yea I know that but that doesn't mean shit when they DIDN'T own Sucker Punch. I was unaware Sony bought Sucker Punch so yea I was wrong, good for you for proving it, however, no need to be a dick about it. I wasn't a dick to you now was I. I played a lot of Warhawk, this is bringing back fun memories. I'm gonna get it.

Sounds like you were being a sarcastic ass in my opinion. Just going out of my way to prove that when you are wrong on all points you might want to use the wiki of the site you're using. Don't get upset because two people called you out on it. Also, Motorstorm is a sequel and none of the previous titles did that. Just because you wouldn't count something that doesn't mean anything. The game is full retail and being sold for $40. Dead Nation is full enough of a game to Sony that they included a platinum trophy for it. Again, just because you don't think you should count something or acknowledge something doesn't really mean much of anything; its a first party title made by Sony and that was the point of my comment that you decided you needed to incorrectly reply to. Thanks!

I remember getting a chance to play this at E3 last year. After finally managing to secure a tank for myself and a passenger, I accidentally drove off a cliff into radioactive waste, killing us both. We were all hooked up on headsets for it; that was an awkward apology that I had to make.

I'm really not a fan of the art direction or the colors they use, but it seemed like some good fun of what I played. Successfully pod dropping on top of someone is such a great feeling.

by the way, how was I upset when I admitted to being wrong??? I also said in my comment about the game "I" wouldn't count, try quoting this, "but that's just me"... so yea, even though your right, your not a nice person so have fun with that.

It's the same one Gamespot uses (well, I assume it's the same one, I guess code wise it could be different, but I doubt it) so that would explain the switch. Kinda...

I hope this has got a long tail for multiplayer. I can't afford it right now but want to at some point.

@Totori: not sure if you followed our little argument and I'm not trying to be a dick but we established that. I guess I missed the news cause I was under the impression Sony had yet to buy Sucker Punch. I'm actually surprised I missed that because Sucker Punch is one of my favorite dev teams

I'm really looking forward to this. The beta was pretty fun.

ALSO: The new video player looks nicer, but does not run quite as well (yet).

it's very quick to change seats in the jeep too, so you don't need a buddy.

According to Jeff they currently have four people on the friends list for the TNT tonight. Should be rockin'.

For some reason, this kind of reminds me of Red Faction: Guerrilla.

I think this looks awesome. If this was on xbox (or PC) I'd be all over it. Shame on the ps3 players that don't seem too excited for it.
