First multi part QL! Really liked this QL for showing such a big part of the early game. It's a MMORPG alright!

So what's the consensus on this thing? I feel like I've heard nothing but terrible things about it, which ensures me it probably isn't that bad.

Wait, so is there another video that has yet to be uploaded, or are they going to continue to look at this game in the future?

I wonder if "MMO" would works with some Dark Souls multiplier style feature. Like I would just play a normal single player game. However, there is a chance of running into actual player.

Before i watch i am guessing the following will be muttered:

"Its very MMO"

"I dont know if i will keep playing"

I knew that I wasn't going to be able to stop myself from playing this game. I'm too big of a TES lore nerd. You start the game in Coldharbour? That is so fucking cool.

You can't pick any race with any alliance, that is a preorder bonus.

Man, this looks like it will be a big fat bomb. Big lifeless world full of people jumping from fetch quest to fetch quest. As someone who played lots of Skyrim and WoW, this inspires ZERO interest in me.

All this does is make me want to play a proper Elder Scrolls game. For that I am thankful.

@kishinfoulux: Pretty good if you like MMOs and Elder Scrolls lore. I wasn't planning on picking based on the negative things I heard but enjoyed the beta a lot and pre ordered. Its a traditional MMO with some twists wrapped in Elder Scrolls lore. the PvP is pretty amazing, very DAoC if you're into that kinda thing.

John Cleese is doing voice work in this? Weird.

@nights: It pretty much is an Elder Scrolls game if you break it down. Not great combat and lots of lore books.

Unless you're not playing the same Elder Scrolls games I am.

I don't think the GB crew should doing quick looks on MMO. With the depth and staggering amount of mechanic/features within the genre. These kind of video doesn't help anyone, nor that entertaining. If they cover them, they should at least spend a week on it and see how the game and community are doing.

I normally love it when they go into a fresh game blind, their reactions are the best part of the site.

He's done a fair number of video games over the years. He was in a few of the Brosnan-era Bond titles, Jade Empire and Fable III off the top of my headI. Loads of old British actors have done voice work in games recently. I'm almost surprised that Patrick Stewart isn't in this. He seems to pop up everywhere these days.

Anyway, the game itself looks a lot better than I was expecting. No way I'd ever pay a subscription fee to play it though, so it's not for me.

I don't care about mmos so I wasn't planning on being interested in this but it looks like an elder scrolls game and I like elder scrolls games. I would like to play it if it's something I can afford at some point.

Is this even a videogame!? How can anyone be sure? I mean wow a new MMoRPG that is like all the other MMoRPGs out there. No interesting new mechanics or anything really that cant be found in free to play mmos. For example, besides being in the elder scrolls universe; what does this game have that a game like neverwinter doesn't? You, as the player of said "game", are basically following quest markers and killing some stuff. You can say the same thing about skyrim or any open world game but at least those games have solid gameplay and immersive worlds to back up whats goin on with them.

Ok so my point is that this type of game has been done before and I expected more from this game. I just wanted it to raise the bar a bit more.

For me personally I played WOW way back and I was like, "this games boring dude". Then I played TOR and I encountered the very same issue. So maybe this games not for me. Haters gonna hate I dont have time for that psychic repulsion whatever I dont like the elder scrolls mmo it doesnt make me a criminal or a lecherous curr so I feel ok about that.

I don't often get exhausted when watching QLs, but this one did it for me. How can a world that is sprawling and full of life be so, boring?

I don't understand the hate. Looks pretty cool, and the fighting seems a lot more fun than most other MMO's I've seen. I'm not gonna play it but if I was into MMO's, I would. Kinda contradictory there but whatever, looks like a quality game!

A big deal I noticed in the beta was that in dungeons there is a loading screen between literally every room. My friend with an ssd was not bothered by it but it took me about 30 seconds to open any door.
