Bizarre Ultima influences in this game. The graphics reminds me of Guardian's Crusade.

I just bought this and feel like I have to point this out: Apparently when you buy this game, you are given download links that only work for seven days. Maybe this is making an unreasonably big deal out of this, but isn't that kind of ridiculous? I understand that in the purchasing of downloadable games, the consumer is always accepting some degree of risk and so making physical copies and backups is a reasonable thing to do, but this seems absurd to me.

I suppose it's likely that you could get in contact with the creator if you needed a download link again, but that's kind of fucked.

Hey, so I ran into the problem of the game not running and uninstalled it without knowing that the links would be long expired. I emailed Calvin French, the game's designer, and he pointed me to http://therealtexasgame.com/update. That should fix it for you.

Discworld reference for the win.
