Great QL, liking the deduction board for a good way to compare clues. After going with the Lovecraftian themed Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, think I'll miss the rest as the puzzles were a bit harsh (though easy to run through with the walkthroughs) in that one. Don't expect the others to be different though glad to see the Awakened as it wasn't bad for a pc game full of mystery & puzzles but as seen in the QL the puzzles are devious enough that a walkthrough is definitely a help or at least a hint on some of these.

It's hard to tell which Watson this is based on how little he's in this. But it seems more like Stupid Watson.

Does the concept of this game interest you? I would say you should maybe put this game on the back burner and just go watch the BBC's Sherlock series instead. It's fantastically well-written and paced. Also, it's a great modernization without becoming CSI or straying from the idea that deductive reasoning is Sherlock's best tool. Being a british program, they have 2 series (seasons) each of three longer episodes. The first three episodes are on Netflix Instant so you can try it out, and the rest are on iTunes or the internet. I'd highly recommend it.

Jack the Ripper is better. The puzzles are better because they are less obtuse. Also the quizzes are replaced with awesome logic deductions that make you feel like a real detective. Also the story is more realistic and less supernatural. They also wrap up the story with an ending that makes sense historically.

I've been thinking about picking this up. I know it's not supposed to be anything special but Sherlock Holmes was always pretty cool in my eyes.

Dr. Moustache of H.A.T. S.Q.U.A.D. would be the best Victorian era spy game ever made.

Edit: Hmm, I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to see the dog part, but I guess we can't expect Ryan or Jeff to actually play through enough of this game to reach it. Hopefully Vinny will want to do something with this game, seeing as he is the site's adventure game expert.
