I don't understand the notion that there hasn't been something this bad in a long time. There are tons of terrible games like this, licensed or otherwise, coming out all the time.

And you know what? People play games that are just as bad as this all the time; but they make excuses for them because they have achievements, or they're for Kinect or they're on iOS.

Horrible, but a very entertaining quicklook.

Jesus, this looks like something I would have made in The Games Factory ten years ago, but with slightly more frames of animation... How did this even get made? I guess it's worth it for the Ryan-O/Vinthro thing, though... Good job with that, guys.

That thread was what got me to look him up on Imdb.

The sad cherry on top of all this is that this game is out just in time to have missed the death of both its television show and toyline. It literally serves no purpose.

@Vangelus: Maybe that's the answer, if development was cut short with everything else getting canned. Who knows.

It's too bad the new series got cancelled. I thought it was actually a really good show for what it was.

I like it when games break the quicklook wall and Giantbomb just gives an opinion on the spot.

This really seems like a GBA game that the developer reskinned. The flying enemies and lack of ability to aim up already look bad, but the slow animations make it look even worse. They also did a really good job recycling backrounds like that too. Literally looks like some consecutive screens are exactly the same.

I was surprised at the restraint. I figured this game would have come out right after the show started up. As for the show, I remember catching the first two episodes, it seemed pretty decent a reimagining. Though, the whole Tigra with a gun/woman chasing thing was a bit off putting.

Shame on everyone involved for this. For the cheapass budget developer who did this awful work, shame on them also for making a DS game in 2012 versus a 3DS or Vita game, shame on Cartoon Network for canceling the show before this came out, shame on myself for watching this:) Giantbomb; thanks for taking a hit and looking at this for us...

Poor Drew was crying in the corner the whole time.

It looks like they found an unreleased Thundercats GBC game and put it onto a DS cart. This is.. yeah. This looks just like a GBC game.

Combat kind of reminds me of Actraiser with all the great stuff removed in favor of extra possum monsters.
