I haven't played any of these games before so I'm thinking of picking up the PC version.

Oh i never knew about the reversing stuff!

The trick events are THE WORST in this game. Half of the time the game doesn't register you're performing a trick.
Also, the previous Trials most certainly had online multiplayer.

I really like this game (like the previous Trials) but is goddamn weird.

EDIT: Dammit Brad, when you start the game it says RIDE and below it says CREATE - you must have seen that several times... -.-

This game looks really, really cool. Not sold on the trick stuff at all though, it's just something the game didn't need in my opinion.

Still can't decide on PC/XB1/PS4 for this. Too many friends on each platform.

I really need to get back into Trials...

I just hope the progression structure in this game isn't hot bullshit like the last one. Literally forcing you to get golds on every track to progress? Almost completely ruined Trials Evo for me until I said enough and got a trainer to unlock the remaining levels. It's a shame too because once again they seemed to have done a bang up job and what I did play of Trials Evo I really had a good time.

If it isn't (or a trainer isn't around the corner just in case anyway), then I'm on board for future Trials.

I see no problems here.

This is the first Trials game that looked interesting to me.

For anyone curious: I played the Trials iPhone version and it's not bad. I haven't gotten to the horrible free-to-play wall yet, but for a toilet-companion-app it's O-K. I mean, it's free.

Is it me or does this game not control as well as the earlier ones.

Either Vinny or Drew has to be in the cockpit for a quick look, Brad is half of the SF-based editorial staff, and Jeff has been in important business meetings for a while now. No reason to blame Babyface Shoemaker.

So there's a track called "Krank" wherein you need to keep your adrenaline up or you'll die.

You know, just like in that movie… Speed!

You know, I've been thinking about what the actual Trials gameplay boils down to. The map creator picks a point on the stick and then the player has to find that exact point and hit it to land the jump. It's kind of like a lock picking mini-game.

I think this group of people doing the quicklook is hilarious, but it is a little frustrating that they know so little about Trials as a series. An old complaint about quicklooks, I know...Eg. The lack of online play.

Still watching, so I don't know if they touch on it, but the story is super weird.
When you die and reset, it's creating a clone. You're not turning time back, but actually dying. The voiceovers allude to it. Also, the destruction in the background doesn't reset when you do.

They said they are taking more time to make the online multiplayer interesting, and it will be added for free "months after release". They knew it wasn't a well-used feature in the last game.
