Maaaan the writing in this game is terrible. But, giant animals that are houses is kinda cool.

Is the writing intentionally terrible? Like sort of bad anime-sub style?

Does Two Brothers + Two Brothers always equal Four Brothers? Will a game be made that answers this mathematical/philosophical question of the ages?!?!

Not really feeling this game and the dialogue doesn't seem that great.

I'm just basing what I'm saying on what's shown in this Quick Look. You're right, it could pay off, there could be something to it, but in this case exploitable imagery seemed to happen consistently without any immediate pay-off which makes it come off as a choice of ill intent. To go on this long, and maybe it wasn't supposed to go on this long, maybe Brad's bad at games, it comes off to the viewer as just a mildly sexist artistic choice.

And, again, you're right. It is a forgiveable choice. It's nothing outrageous, it's just minor. This isn't hyper offensive or anything, just archaic. It being archaic also plays into the type of game it is parodying, but in terms of gender roles and apparent sexism we haven't really moved on from these roles to make a meaningful joke out of it. A lot of games still make these decisions, again it's minor, but it still exists. It's the same as a joke falling flat, no real reaction, just "eh."

Does that mean that the McElroys are better than both? Would a MBMBaM game blow Brad's mind?

I'm really not sure about this "twice as good as Brothers" stuff. I mean, think about it: "Brothers" is plural. All that tells us is that there is more than one brother. "Two Brothers", on the other hand, specifies precisely how many brothers there are. Therefore, Brothers is at least as brotherly as Two Brothers, if not more.

I realize I enjoyed this way more than I would the actual game. Stutter step and hit it.

It's dumb that it actually outputs in that ridiculous tiny resolution. Pixel art games that do that look junky because your video cards are not designed to upscale pixel art correctly.

It should output in your monitor's resolution and use nearest neighbor upscaling for clean, crisp edges.

This game is bizarre. I can't tell what's intentional and what's not, and it sort of irritates me in the same way that Superbrothers did.

Like the game is telling me, "You don't understand it? It's just too deep for you, man."

Okay, I just had a revelation. When you get to 7:12 in this Quick Lock, imagine it being read by Christopher Walken. A random thought I had that had me cracking up for that whole bit...

Is it just me or is the music at 5:58 sampling the Crazy Bus theme?

Very interesting, also nobody seemed to pick up that the game is about colors, and the brothers are Roy and Biv, Roy g biv being the abbreviation for the rainbow colors.
