Something about this game still ain't doing it for me I think, good that there is a quick look for it though.

This is moist at most.

I was just talking to a buddy of mine last night who's renting this and so far to him it's pretty meh. The art style seems pretty cool but EVERY time you go to shoot someone it goes into slow-mo. That would get annoying to me after while.

Hmmm...Odd name.

Played the demo...didn't like it all!

lol...It's one of those not so good not so bad games that all the reviewers say it's hardest to review.

I don't like how this Quick Look started... lol.

Played a few hours of it on Tuesday and will beat it over the weekend. Loved the demo personally despite knowing it would be short. Great style to it, controls a little janky at times.

This actually looks like pretty goofy fun, I'll probably get it when it's like 20-30 bucks, I'm a sucker for slo-mo and booze!

I like the style. Looks like the gameplay doesn't deliver as much a I would like.

I liked Stranglehold so in theory this game should do something for me. But uh.

You'd think opening doors with a samurai sword would fuck it up, bend it etc. perhaps it is made of adamantium?

How else can you explain why it takes 4 slashes to kill a dude and it rarely slices them in pieces. At least Afro Samurai got that right.
 
For a grindhouse movie game this is nowhere near gory enough.

This game is not making me wet.

it looks repetitive.  cool mechanics but that's all you do, nothing else!  it doesn't seem too exciting either, like with the movie(s) it's influenced by you'd think it would be faster, louder, and more in your face.

thats a lot of bullets in a little pistol. don't you ever have to reload?

the game looks bad and repetitive and i hate games which make you think to much or your stuck int he same position until you figure it out.

I guess this QL didn't do the game much justice but, hell, i get so much enjoyment out of it, you can be really stylish if you want to, and that helps break some of the repetition. Plus headshots kinda help...

The lady in Wet must have pretty badly grazed knees.

Played the demo and just ugh. It's 8 years too late and graphically it looks like it probably could've been a PC game in 2003. The animation sucks, it has pointless QTEs, repetative gameplay and the Grindhouse effect feels tacked on to make it appear different. The part I actually enjoyed the most though was when it ditches the grindhouse-ness and goes all crazy and red when she gets blood on her face. The gameplay is faster and much more satisfying and graphically is more compelling.

This honestly looks kind of bad. There are a lot of really good ideas... but it seems to be executed... poorly. The graphics are also... how do I say this... It looks like a PS2 game. Mostly in the character models.

Played through 10 chapters of this game by now and it's one of the most enjoyable games i've played this year, really puzzled why most people seem to hate it.. guess my taste is just that different :P

Well the Quicklook just reaffirmed my not wanting to play this game.

I certainly agree that it has a lot of style, but as a game it looks... bad.

Like Jeff, this game would get old pretty fast for me.

this quick look put me to sleep...guess it speaks to the quality of the game...

WTF is up with graphical clipping on the character models? I feel like we should be beyond that. That's annoying.

Oh so its Total Overdose? .. Looks meh.

Uninteresting cut scenes, annoying level design, box smashing (all empty?), exploding barrels (look out they are red!), mandatory turret sequence and quicktime events. All this in just 20 minutes, its like they actually tried hard to be unoriginal.
