A Machine for Pigs is THE most disappointing game for me. I loved all of Frictional Games' catalog up until AMfP and I even liked Dear Esther from The Chinese Room, but Wow! Everything about AMfP rubbed me the wrong way to the point where I swore off buying the next Frictional Games work. That turned out to be a mistake, because I watched a full let's play of SOMA and that game looked GREAT! I hope Frictional never leases their properties out ever again. I don't need anymore half-assed sequels tailed by lousy "___ is good because it has less gameplay!" think-pieces.

Edit: I made this comment before watching the video. They don't even touch AMfP. Good!

@andrack: A machine for pigs was developed by The Chinese Room, and merely published by Frictional. Soma was fully developed by frictional. That's why Amfg was bad and Soma was good.

@andrack: Yeah, A Machine For Pigs felt like they (The Chinese Room) didn't know at all why the first game was so loved. Thankfully, as you said, SOMA turned out great.

These are probably going to be videos I go back to every Halloween. Never played this game but it doesn't look that scary from what I saw, maybe it ramps up later.
