Speaking of Doom mods, does anyone remember 'Sonic Robo Blast 2' that game was the only reason I knew what Doom was back in the day :) Would be cool to perhaps see this on 'Unprofessional Fridays'

Why would Mega Man 2 be the superior game? 3 has better bosses, music, maneuvers, weapons, difficulty, level design...every game after it in the series (not counting X) added pointless stuff and was never as good. Heck, 3 even has all the bosses from 2! It's super long and way cool.

It's fine if you like 2 better. Your opinion is just wrong.

fwiw I'm pretty sure you don't need any commercial wads to play Mega Man deathmatch. Just download Zandronum point it at a Mega Man server and go.

@nonekjr: That requires you to pause it and wait for it to preload to whatever point. That's, so far, the only way that I know of to do that.

The video file name when you download it is vf_tnt_040913_1800.mp4, so it's both from the past and from the future!

Oh god, so much misinformation about Mega Man. Pharaoh Man was MM4, his attack was a weird sun. Snake Man was MM3. Mega Man 3 is clearly better than 2 barring nostalgia.

As someone who can name what Mega Man stage each of these levels is based on just from looking at the wall texture, I'm mildly infuriated by the wild guessing being thrown around in this video. Yes, you were thinking of Quick Man, Ryan, stop doubting yourself so much! Junk Man was in Mega Man 7, which was for the SNES, but 4 also had Dust Man that was also trash themed and 8 was the relatively terrible PSX game with the voice clips and cutscenes. Like, sheesh, how doesn't everyone know this off the top of their head? I mean really.

Dear lord! It's like TNT and Unprofessional Fridays joined in an unholy union and had a still born of hilarity. I like Mega Man a lot and a first person shooter with those assets is the last thing I expected to see. Great vodcast this week guys. Keep up the great work.

That Doom map Jeff was playing on at the very end was FUCKING TERRIBLE.

For once, I agree with Brad's Quake elitism: the multiplayer in Doom really wasn't as good as the singleplayer. Quake and UT multiplayer maps were leagues ahead in terms of actually placing weapons in places where you will come across them, instead of forcing you to painstakingly memorize the weird place they hid the rocket launcher or other power weapon.
