I really don't understand why there's an oxygen meter but as long as power remains full oxygen automatically recharges.. why not just make 1 larger power meter and have the character die when it reaches 0? Overall this looks great , especially considering how early this still is , but i hope this won't be a "journey" like experience where you just run around doing stuff for no reason.

As for their philosophy on making getting to other planets easy , i get why you would want to do that and i get that other games (ksp) fill that role already , but KSP lacks any and all reason to go planetside , if this game added more complex orbital mechanics i think it would do wonders.

PS : one of those devs sounds identical to gabe from the office lol

This looks neat. I was worried at first that this was going to be some kind of Space Engineers clone, but it's nice to see that this is going in a different direction.

I am instantly and infinitely more interested in this game than No Man's Sky now. I really enjoyed my time with Minecraft ages ago, and this taps into sci-fi which is my absolutely favorite genre.

This game looks like relaxing fun! Loved the goofy launch trajectory on the beta-ass capsule, too.

I would guess that you will use suit power for other things sometimes (like diverting power to a device), and the oxygen meter is a maximum time you can spend without using suit power.

I like the look of this, but I find myself getting motion sick watching it. It might be a different story actually playing it.

@dunchad: I don't understand why everyone is so passive aggressive about Matt Rorie and his apparently poor performance on videos. I imagine you would have a rough time, too, if you were to sit in front of a hypercritical audience of (at least) tens of thousands of people and perform improvisational comedy/commentary, especially when that actually isn't even your job???

Moreover, Rorie isn't even in this video - he hasn't been in any videos for weeks? I don't know why you even brought him up. It just makes you look like a person who's desperate to act like a jerk to a guy who, as far as I can tell, hasn't done anything to deserve the scorn he receives. Whoa there, mate. Take a breath and calm down. No need to project so much emotion on one off-the-cuff joke. But since you asked, let me walk you through my thought process.

Drew asked several questions about things that had already been explained. That is somewhat out of character for him. Rorie is often reading the chat during streams (i.e. not paying attention to what people are talking about) and ends up asking about stuff that was just talked about. Hence, I made a joke about Drew having caught the inattentiveness-bug from Rorie while also pointing out that I found Drew's behavior uncharacteristic and odd.

I'm not sure how you construed my statement to mean that I actually despise Rorie and his puppy cuddling ways and that I decided to use this video as an opportunity to strike at his fragile ego!

As much as I love how far intricate texture work has come, I really like to see low poly no-texture art styles once in a while. This game is showing a lot of promise.

I'm very hyped for No Man's Sky, but it needs a session like this. No one will ask what you can do in this game.
