Peter Brown is awesome, love all of his game knowledge. I love the hell out of the Saturn after getting mine last year. Pocket fighter is ace too, but I have that on the Playstation.

Really good episode. Warmed up to Peter very quickly, would love to see him and Danny on more UPFs

Once the saturn gets turned on this episode is gold.

This so hard. Peter's a rad dude. Also, definitely not the antithesis of excitement. He seems super smart, laid back and lets other people do their things, but it also genuinely a funny dude. He went along with everything. Also, him playing Gang Beasts was hilarious.

Also also, "No, Shadow of the Beast, you cunt" was incredible.

I wasn't sure about this "Peter Brown guy" at the start but after the titatnic/dorito segment he won me over.

I remember playing that Titanic game years ago! I think I still have the disc in my closet. I've always hoped they would play it one day.

Danny was hilarious in this. Titanic jokes, drunken bar fights, even his "oh god, I love Bomberman so much!"

I've seen Peter around in random videos, and this was the first time I really got to seem him just hang out. Seems like a cool dude, too.

I love Danny but other guys from GameSpot, I don't know, something's really off about them. It's like game journalism is a horrible, boring job to them and they completely forgot how to have fun.

Man, I've missed Peter since the last time he was on a GB show. Super glad to see him back.

Chris Watters is a pretty cool dude, and so is Peter Brown.

Thinking Gamespot's personalities are "boring" or "don't know how to have fun" is misinterpreted. Don't forget that Gamespot's audience is NOT Giant Bomb's audience. There is some crossover, but the product offering is different because the audience segmentation is not the same.

You forget that Giant Bomb's focus on video content make for a completely different product at face value - the GB crew's personalities are built to be on camera.

The reason people here like Danny O'Dwyer or Chris Watters is because they have that on-camera experience. Not everyone at Gamespot has that kind of training or skillset, because that's not what their product offering is completely built around, and it's not necessarily what all their staff are required to have either, so give them a break.

Do they get better about eating chips on mic? I had to turn this off less than half way through and I would really like to see more of it without having to fight the urge to smash everything in my office against the wall in a fit of rage.

Giantbomb needs to hire another guy so Vinny can be on the entire show, things always pop off as soon as he comes out.

No. The only way I can tell them apart is that Peter is generally louder than Drew. I have to be watching or else I sometimes get confused.

@paul_tillich: I think it was mostly down to just getting the Doritos in the mail. Generally from what UPF shows I've seen, eating chips and snacks tends to not be a thing, unless they do a mailbag video that week which has them on it.

Also, Peter Brown is the most recent entrant in my list of Gamespot staff Giant Bomb should poach. I guess I should probably go and check out the actual Gamespot stuff.

Pretty unexpected that it was one of the Americans who dropped that Cee-Bomb, not the salty Irishman.
