I was so pumped for UnP Friday! Then 2:10 happened, where are ya Jeff!

So I had to skip over the entire Drew Golf segment, which sucks because I love Drew segments. I really think that unP Friday shows need to avoid showing content that has been shown on previous QL/Unfinished videos. Sitting through an hour of that Golf game during the Unfinished was all I had in me.

I mean, there are a TON...a TON of video games out there that GB has never covered under any video heading. To play the same game twice (or a billion times if you consider the 4 player fighting games they do almost every UnP Friday) is kinda boring.

With so many games out there to play and to goof around with, I think it is a shame to play already covered content. Take a chance, just play completely random shit.

@freedomtown: You make some good points, and I almost want to agree with you. However, anytime I see one of the guys play something they've already played earlier in the week, I just figure it's because they were busy doing other stuff and didn't have time to research anything else to play.

I'm sure four guys trying to produce daily content on a website can get pretty taxing on at least one if not all of them. Maybe once they start hiring up like they've been talking about, we'll see more coverage of a broader range of games. I hope.

Yeah - I agree. The Point is almost GiantBomb-like it the way it mixes dumb comedy with thoughtful and knowledgeable analysis. I'm glad Danny's around to make it (and appear on GiantBomb when he does).

Great show, I used to work as a caddy at a country club (I don't recommend it) and I think only professional caddies are suppose to offer advice. Where I worked you learn fairly quickly that offering advice to whatever douche bag you're carrying clubs for is a great way to reduce or forfeit your tip to your already meager wages and will probably get yelled at in the process.

@freedomtown: All 10+ minutes of the golf segment in this was better than anything in the QL.

People should give Shield another chance. Much like Star Trek TNG, it's taken almost the entire first season but it's finally starting to get good! Captain America 2 really helped give AoS a new sense of purpose.

I've heard this as well. I kinda wrote the show off after the first two eps didn't really grab me, but a friend of mine wound up going back and catching up on the show later, and said that it really hit its stride as the season went on. He didn't spoil me on much, but he said that the way it reflects the stuff that happens in the Cap: Winter Soldier movie was pretty cool.

Actually, no, it's not! I mean, it may not be your cuppa, but the Arrow show is, for what it's worth, pretty entertaining. It's not award-winning television, but it's a hell of a sight better than other attempts at tv superheroes. Their take on Oliver is actually pretty good, and most of the supporting cast is good/fun too.

Maybe their take on Bronze Tiger wasn't faithful, but having a dude in a bright orange jumpsuit and full-on Tiger mask might have been a little... much. Also, Michael Jai White is pretty awesome. Also, he's only in like three episodes. Also, did I mention he's played by Michael Jai White?

Like I said, it's not Breaking Bad or anything, but I find it a hell of a lot more watchable than their past efforts. And I'm a dude who watched the first four seasons of Smallville without fail just because it was tangentially related to comics.

@vargasprime: I stuck with Smallville to the end. Do I think it was a good show? Absolutely not, but you put that much time into a show you might as well finish it. :( God, that series pissed me off consistently, lol.

@rorie Hi Rorie, Any word on when these tech issues might be ironed out? I can't seem to win, stay up late to watch live and the audio drops. Wait for the archive and the audio is out of sync.

Think I preferred the slower upload times of a few months back, the audio worked back then.

I really can't speak to any technical issues. If there's ever audio syncing issues I would let Vinny and Drew know directly on Twitter. This is the first time I've heard of any issues; have been busy with sale and hiring PMs and customer support.

@vargasprime: I actually didn't know it was Michael Jai White, that's cool. I just saw a pic of the costume once and had a really good laff. That dude eats awesome and craps karate, and Black Dynamite is one of my favorite movies. And no, I don't think having accurate costumes would be "too much". One of the things I hate most about DC's shows is their refusal to make things look like a goddamn comic. Having them wear something more superhero-y would actually make the superheroics more believable. Instead it's a strange cognitive dissonance of "realistic" outfits and outlandish powers. The Marvel movies kept the costumes, and it's worked out well. That new Flash series at least seems to have a pretty accurate costume, and Deathstroke's in Arrow looks pretty low-budget, but it's alright.

But yeah, man, everything I've seen of Arrow just looks like Smallville, and I HAAAAAAAATED Smallville. There are clips of Constantine out now, and it seems pretty awful too-- Including mispronouncing John's name, again. At least now he is British and looks the part. It's a bummer since Hellblazer is one of my favorite series of all time but it seems there's a constant refusal to actually do the character right, because it wouldn't be acceptable for a mass market. In the newest clip from the show he arrives magically to save the day after a giant crater to Hell appears or something. I do at least appreciate them not doing an origin story.

@rorie: No worries. I feel this is a bit of a customer support issue though, you guys make great video content, sadly a few uploads/live streams go wrong. Enough comments on this episode alone suggest that something is going wrong in the upload process. I wasn't sure if contacting the guys directly about this sort of stuff was appropriate.

Every time I watch Chris Waters I can't help think, if only... if only he was just a bit better, he'd be great. Unfortunately, he just never really gets to that next level.

He does spew out some cleverness, just something... is off.

When I saw his name in the credits I did a double take for a second and thought that Vinny used to live a double life as a early 90s game dev.

That Watters fella is A-OK by my account.

Considering the storied career he's had, that's entirely believable.

Brad pronounces "while" really strange. Is that due to a certain accent? Or is that just a way to pronounce it?

I don't mean to be insensitive or anything, I'm just not a native speaker and I've always been curious where this pronunciation comes from.
