Unprofessional Fridays: 05/16/2014

I actually didn't enjoy the show that much this week. The space game section really bored me. Wasn't anything wrong with it at all, I just didn't find the game fun to watch or the commentary that interesting personally.

Was hoping for more Golf with Drew; oh well still fun enough.

Yawhg was great though, truly fun to watch.

Great Episode! And man, that ending. Rorie is the best.

Space Engineers looks better and better every time I see it. I really hope it ends up being a proper game. I like the idea of flying to an asteroid and creating a mining colony on it.

If you haven't read Emily Carroll's comics I would highly recommend that you do! Gorgeous, Gothic and really creepy. Overall, a fantastic UPF duders!

You guys should do a QL of YAWHG too. That game seemed pretty cool. It's always fun seeing Danny murder babies and, wait...

Space Engineers also still looks great, but I'll probably never play it.

Great show as always. Even though the Space Engineers segment was quite long, it was still a complete laugh.

I had to go out and buy The Yawhg after this. The art style reminds me of Locke and Key.

Glad to see The Yawhg getting some show here! Fell in love with that game last year, I think it's just such a cool idea.

Yeah, Tactical Ops was great as a mod. Wasn't quite as good a deal when they tried selling it as a retail product like Counter-Strike though. I still kinda hope we'll get it on GOG soon though, I saw Tommo owns the rights for it now, and they've been putting a lot on GOG recently.

UT99, I miss you so much.

Anyone else think UT99 holds up surprisingly well? Looks better than some f2p shooters released recently.

Just for the record, Blinx came out before Ratchet & Clank. But unfortunately it was not a very good game. Another case of great ideas failing to mediocre execution, and frankly, I don't think they had any idea what they were doing with the presentation...

Finally get a GB sub and I miss this live. Time to catch up!

Oh man UT99. I've played this competitively so long and still remember every sound, texture, taunt and every single map. I know nostalgia can blur your vision but I hope the 'new UT' has a proper Assault mode without vehicles, with launches and with a ton of teamwork and strategy.

What a lovely set of memories to have. Bittersweet awesomeness ;(

Not so sure about the looks but the gameplay still is nothing short of outstanding. That game is rock solid.

Danny gettng a bit harsh on a game he's never even played before. Blinx is totally my nostalgia game, and I KNOW its not a great game. But it's a hidden gem of sorts.
