Oh man... I really hope Ryckert isn't the new hire. I didn't like the stuff he did in Game Informer, didn't like him when he was on the GI podcast, and he's the least likeable guy on the Power Bombcast too. Harsh words, I know, but losing a Vinny and gaining Ryckert is like a one-two punch to the nuts.

Brad has been playing Dota for how long and he doesnt know Lion's ult is called "Finger of Death" not just "Finger" and that he has a different spell called "Hex" that changes enemies into a harmless animal?

I wish there was someone else on the Bomb Squad that had Jeff's knowledge of hip-hop. I'd be willing to listen to an overly long bit about Toe Jam & Earl & Pusha T.

I feel like Toejam and Earl should've been more Outkast-y. Or, like, Toejam is Biggie on Gimme the Loot, and Earl is the other voice Biggie does on Gimme the Loot.

When I was in Elementary School, maybe Junior High, we actually went to a nature preserve/park and half the day was dedicated to a game a lot like this. Everyone was a type of animal, Deer, Rabbit, Wolf, Squirrel, Hawk, etc. the point of the game was to run around in the woods and find enough food markers to fill up your card then cross the highway (the dirt road the teachers patrolled) to safety. everybody had abilities, like the herbivores just had to hide from predators and find food and water stations. Predators had to chase lower animals down and take their card(life basically) Hawks had access to high ground,but could only attack small prey, wolves had to work in teams so needed more food to survive than other predators, etc. I believe there even was some sort of mechanic where the none pack animals would gain an extra life if they meet another of their species in the woods and swapped cards in some way. It was kinda nuts thinking back on it.

TLDR: They made us LARP when I was in school.

I would love it if it's Dan Ryckert - shake things up a little. Also, people need to stop talking like we are "losing" Vinny as if he's going away forever from the site or something, because I'm excited to see what him and Alex come up with.

Not sure if Dan is just trolling the speculation that he is joining Giant Bomb, but he just asked Alex Navarro on Twitter to find him an apartment in the San Francisco area while he's visiting "the home office" this week.

Seeing brad's reaction to that dota news... he really as a problem I think. That is not the reaction a healthy person should have to the fact that some items in his free to play game are out, and he needs to interrupt the stream for it.

What would people think if they found out he's Jesus Freak? What would people do if they found it was Drew?

I submit Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock as the real Toejam and Earl.

I am the only one who actually liked this game, I felt it was a good recreation of the original TJ&E.

Guess it is because I don't really care about the Rip hop/rap stuff, I was just interested in the gameplay.

Is there footage of Drew swearing on camera? I don't recall him ever throwin' out some potty mouth.
