Having Dave talk about the conversation he and I had on twitter about Britt Daniel of Spoon and his brief time at Origin is pretty cool.

Coupling that with a possible Genesis stream, a recurring request of mine whenever I get the opportunity to ask the staff something...great Friday. Sega released the Genesis in Japan 25 years ago this December! We gotta celebrate this!! It deserves so much more shine from Giant Bomb than it's gotten.

Must say that for a non sexist group of reporters Brad sure likes to watch pixelated butts of women.

Yes! Genesis Stream all day! I wanna see what awful shit Jeff has got lying around at his place for the system. Other than that, Dynamite Heady, Biohazard Battle, Contra Hard Corps, World of Illusion, MUSHA, Road rash II, Rolo to the Rescue, Elemental Master, Herzog Zwei, Rocket Knight, Sreets of Rage II, Pulseman, Gunsat Heroes, Castlevania Bloodlines, Shinobi...I loved the all day SNES stream back in 2011 and this would be so amazing as well...Brad make it happen!

Actually Final Fantasy XIV always feels as full and lively as in this video for me. It was fucking packed during the beta weekend. Also probably the best working controller support in any MMO I've ever played. The Giant Bomb crew has lost any right to critisize any alternate control schemes they haven't tried, see also: Pikmin 3 Quick Look.

I think B-rad sold me on FF14.... I need a new MMO!

@dagas: Castle of Illusion and Land of Illusion were fantastic games on the Master System. I personally preferred them to the Mega Drive Illusion games.

I'm sorry, but this edition of UPF was pretty awful. And it's all down to the games.

Brad need to stop choosing games that require hours upon hours before they become fun (FF this week, but also Mario & Luigi the week before last or whenever it was) and Jeff should have realized that the Mickey-game really isn't that interesting to watch (the crew pretty much drifted off right away and started talking about stuff other than Mickey).

Drew had the right mindset (as always) when he picked his games (that they weren't all that fun to watch this time around isn't really his fault, they looked promising on paper) and Vinny generally also brings the good stuff. But it feels like it's been ages since Brad or Jeff have showed THE game of the show, so they need to step it up, especially when Drew or Vinny are out of the office.

We all know that Brad and Jeff have played tons and tons of really shitty games over the years. Go to the Gamespot archives and DIG THEM OUT.

Usually Jeff cuts it off when he had enough, strange he let Brad play so long.

I missed Vinny not being here with a weird FMV game, but Dave being there was awesome! Can't wait for next week!

Voice dictation is way better on Android. I typed this whole thing with my voice using my s 4 and it only took like 2 seconds.

As a guy who liked FF XII I think XIV-2 looks like a decent MMO. I almost want to try it out. Almost.

Yeah, and I liked it. I think it's one of those games you really need the manual for though. The game box included a copy of the book the movie was based on, and a discount coupon for a VHS copy of the movie.

@drewbert needs to be around and play through the surprisingly vast collection of simulator games for the Genesis too, off the top of my head I can recall M1 Abrams Battle Tank, 688 Attack Sub, LHX Attack Chopper, F22 Interceptor, F117 Night Storm, MiG-29 Fighter Pilot and one of the F-15 Strike Eagle games.
