Also, if you are going to make a game about driving and texting you should at least try to ensure that the driving is in and of itself functional.

Also, slightly obnoxious that everyone follows Brad around just hoping that they get shown on the Bombcast :| Good thing Brad seems completely disinterested in the game.

Man I don't want to be a complaining asshole, I love Giant Bomb, but tonight's UP was pretty disappointing. I'm guessing they're probably still a little beat from PAX (or getting sick), and I know that every show can't be a winner, so I don't want to be a jerk about nitpicking specifics.

That said, I think all the guys had to do was pop Rayman in and play some 2 v 2 Kung Foot for a few rounds and the show would have been vastly improved. Really surprised it didn't make it on the show after Jeff and Brad dug it in the Quick Look so much,

I like Dave but he has a habit to just talk with the guys about whatever for really long lengths of time. I know the MMO wasn't a great source of humor but that and Dave being there just kind of had everyone off in their own little world and more or less ignoring good chunks of the video games.

Its not a big outrage or anything, and UPF is pretty hit or miss in general save for FMV corner, bit I'm just moreso commenting.

I could've done without half the show being Final Fantasy XIV (and 15-20 minutes of that being a close-up of a catgirl's face, for as sort of hilarious as that is). But that's the thing I guess, not every UPF can be a banger, and I think that Neo Geo stream last week more than compensates.

Friday shows can always use more wrestler cards and Genesis.

The FF segment was so bad. I know this site is mostly about covering what they like or think is important but seeing how anecdotal they are with everything not in their interest (which is a lot) is starting to grate on me. At least be some what accurate, hell even ballpark really. I know it's nothing new, I'm just getting tired of it I guess. That said it was just another Friday show so that makes it okay.

I'm super with Jeff on the pets in MMOs thing. Hate pets. I just hate micromanaging all that stuff. I'm making this buddy do all these spells and attacks that I could just be doing myself if I picked X class, except the spells/attacks would be named and presented slightly differently. And I still have to cast spells of my own to keep myself and them buffed, anyway.

Of course, micromanaging is one of the reasons I don't play MMOs past level 20 or whatever, so maybe MMOs just aren't my thing.

This is such a genius idea, thank you for making this game! I think the government should sponsor this game, just to show normal people how hard and horrible texting and driving is. Got to show this to my family.

This weeks show was pretty boring and everything dragged on too much. Here's hoping for a more exciting and Vinny filled next week.
