I had the stream running in another room, and kept popping in, and getting more and more incredulous about what I was seeing.
Also, none must forget about Matt "The White Nightmare" Rorie.

I would certainly watch a stream that was like 3 hours long of them just browsing through their achievements, talking about the games, talking about specific achivements, and maybe firing up a game once in a while.

They should do a lot of "farewell" stuff for this gen and do something like that.

edit: Shit, that could even be the extra-life stream. 24 hour farewell to current gen.

so, i asked patrick on tumblr a while back about broken pixels (cause he's good friends with the 1up crew), and he said that that crew apparently did an entire 3rd season of that show that's unreleased, asked him if they would ever release it, and he said they dont know. maybe ask the 1up crew on twitter if you wanna see that 3rd season?

I totally did not know about Space Pirates. There is certain charm to those games.

My understanding is that there's some legal issues that surrounded the end of Broken Pixels, so I don't think we're likely to see anymore of it. And who the fuck knows what's happened to 1UP's archives since Ziff Davis decided to take that shit down a second time.

Also, Seanbaby has a column on Cracked, though he doesn't seem to be a frequent contributor there anymore.

Side note: It occurred to me that they played Robocop on a previous UPF, which means we've seen two Broken Pixels "classics" featured so far. I guess someone should send them a copy of Ring Kings or something.

Yeah, Codemasters and to a lesser extent Atlus set the stage for UI presentation on consoles this generation easy.

It definitely was a joke. The pigeon game they mentioned is similar, but actually well-translated and much funnier beyond just the premise. Danny O'Dwyer has a playthrough of it somewhere, probably on his twitch channel.

That said, most of the shit they scrolled past on dlsite after playing was probably 100% honest and unironic anime/animal dating.

Pretty much. Since they're text and some unironicly fucked-up creeper-ass pics, they're cheap to make, therefore LEGION like we've seen.

I nearly lost my shit when Jeff said Bioshock Infinite was a better game than Half-Life 2, but then remembered that's just his opinion and we all have different ones. Still though, it was a bit upsetting since Half-Life 1, 2 and Episode 1 & 2 are some of my most favorite games, and did not need to be bashed by a game like Infinite, which in my opinion was a huge disappointment. I did play and finish Infinite.

Half Life 2 was pretty good.

And so was Infinite.

There's plenty good games to go around.

Alexis saying the youtube video player was the worst had me chuckling...

It plays better for me than the Giant Bomb player ever does!

Also dead chuffed to hear others state that Half Life 2 is NOT the greatest game ever made! It was really good in its day but the sand buggy/hover boat sections were just horrible.

Bioshock 1 is a much better game in my opinion

I knew I had seen this game before, but I couldn't remember when. God, How long ago was broken Pixels? 5 years ago? More? It was driving me insane not remembering where I'd seen it.
