so why has activision done such a bad job at letting people know about the game? a lot of people haven't even heard about it and considering it came out today here, for the review embargo to end this morning sends a very sketchy message to gamers. 
 
this is a game that deserves some press, a trailer now and again is nowhere near what this game should be getting and hopefully as we near the obviously more important us release we will see more push from the publisher.

This game is truly fantastic. It is quite special. I... just wow. It looks like bioshock. graphically.  
3 bad points, Sound effects aren't to special and people don't look at you when they talk and some rare textures are hell of blurry rarely.  
That's it, those are my only issues. 
The game runs like a dream on my PC. And I can't wait to complete the story so I can get into the multi-player.

I agree with this. I've played it on my 360, and I must say, I enjoy it. 

eurogamer gave it a good review. and Games Radar even made an article asking not to let Activision "bury" the game (for lack of marketing and not sending out preview copies and shit) because it's fantastic they say. Here it is Link
 

That first 15 minutes got me interested but how is the framerate on 360, Raven has a horrible track record with unpolished games on console...

i think the music in the game is great, there are some shoddy textures here and there but there is no loading screen whatsoever once you start the game.  
 
if you like bioshock then you will most probably like this as it's pretty much bioshock lite but it feels fantastic.

Can you go back in time and stop an enemy soldier's parents from copulating?

I remember reading about this game a year ago but I have heard nothing of it since then. Looks like a good game.

Can't wait for the GiantBomb review. I think it will be as surprising as Batman: Arkham Asylum was.

This game has had a weird history. Last year it made the cover of Game Informer but then got delayed out of the holiday season and was all but forgotten. One of the pre-order bonuses, at least at Gamestop, is a free copy of Prototype. In my experience whenever nobody talks about a game before it's released and they give away something substantial with it then the game is probably pretty terrible. I would be pleasantly shocked if it turned out to be good in any way.

I don't think I've heard of this game until now, but after watching this video I'm really interested. Might be a purchase if the reviews hold up.
