    Pleasantly surprising

Look, Sniper Ghost Warrior is an extremely linear budget title. If you are going to compare it to an AAA title, of course it will not compete. But it also costs appropriately and does not try to pretend to be more than it is.

The acting is terrible. Thankfully you don't hear a lot of dialogue. The story...don't even ask. There is a bad guy. Also, despite the game being about sniping, there is neither zeroing nor elevation nor windage adjustment, but I would like to point out that this is also absent from the more popular Sniper Elite games.

But the action is solid and the graphics are really good. There is a bullet cam effect like in Sniper Elite. You move through the level, you kill guys with your sniper rifle or the occasional AK47 and you enjoy the tropical scenery as you do so. That is what you do in this game. It does not sell itself as anything else and it is functional.
