Square-Enix has finally commented that Dragon Quest X will be heading to the Wii! I was pretty surprised by this move, but wasn't too taken back by it(since DQ9 is being released for the DS). I wonder if this will affect the game's quality.

What's a Wii? I thought that system was a myth...

I know. In Japan, it's as big as FFXIII going to 360.

he means that in japan dragon quest is as big if not more so than final fantasy, which it is.

It won't affect it's quality....

That would be cool for me if I a was interested in this game and b owned a Wii

Yeah, and putting Gears of War 2 or Uncharted 2 on the Wii wouldn't affect their quality either.  This is a game I'd buy if it were on the PS3 or 360, but I'll ignore it because I refuse to buy another Wii until I can get one for $150, because that's as much as they should charge for a system with old technology in it and a faulty control scheme.

Ehhhh what? One of the thing that makes GOW and Uncharted are its graphics, DQ has always been about style and gameplay not poly count."

I agree with Endogene, Gears and Uncharted would be affected because of how much they could put on the disc. Gears couldn't have many enemies on screen and Uncharted could not have a long story without multiple discs.

I may have to pick this up. I can't remember the last one I played so it'll be nice to have another game on for my Wii.

Nah... the wii will find a way to screw it up.  Yea, the wii itself, not the developers.  lulz.  
Hopefully it'll turn out good, but the Wii somehow manages to screw up so many good game series.

I'd personally rather it have gone to the 360 and Ps3 because then they could have better graphics really and I much prefer a regular controller unless it utilizes it well (which a jrpg really cant).
Probably gonna buy it. 

Hoping that this is actually on all platforms though.  Oh well, at least I'll still be able to play it.
