Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator is a Star Trek-themed shooter for several early consoles including the Texas Instruments 99/4A. The player pilots the Enterprise and combats enemy spaceships including Klingon birds-of-prey. While playing, the player gets both a first-person and overhead view of the combat. This allows for better maneuvering and aiming by the player. Players have a shield to protect them from enemy attack and a warp drive to increase maneuverability.
