So steams summer sale is over. I bought way too many games, and the long list of unplayed games got much longer. I think I can spend the next few years without buying new games, but thats never gonna happen:P
Currently I own 92 games on steam, and i fear that list will still be growing for each sale steam has.
How many games have you got on steam? Do you have the same problem as me with buying stuff you wont play alot, just because its so damn cheap?
Steam

A digital distribution service owned by Valve Corporation. Originally created to distribute Valve's own games, Steam has since become the de facto standard for digital distribution of PC games.
How many games do you own on Steam?
Hmm, I didn't fall into that endless pit of buying games during that sale. I only bought 3 games during the sale, (Beyond Good and Evil, Red Faction: Guerilla, and Trine). Heh. I have 10 games so far. Currently, I'm playing the Witcher. Good game.
i own.. 12 (off the top of my head) games on steam. they're mostly Counter Strike games (and the games that came with CS 1.6 and Source). i have two games gifted by giant bomb user Ossi :)
i don't have credit card access, but if i did you'd be sure i would be broke cause i can't turn down a deal ; ;
I don't have a credit card or anything similar so I've only got about 15. And I bought those are hard copies. But even if I had a credit card and bout 90 games off Steam, it would be too much...but not enough...

I buy something if I want it, but I won't be buying multiple things at $10 if I don't think I'll play the game. It's not like people on this forum are so rich that they already own everything they'd want to own for every platform either. That money adds up.
So short answer, no I don't buy things just because they're cheap.
About six. I'm still hesitant about digital copies of games. There's just something about owning physical copies of games.
263. Steam for me is almost perfect. It has the convenience of consoles and the flexibility of PC gaming.
Around 150. A lot of those are obscure indies or ancient classics I bought for under $5 though - I'm a sucker for anything that costs about the same or less than a beer. As a result I've got lots of really terrible hobbyist-made games I can't be arsed to actually play, and a bunch of stuff I haven't touched my Steam copies of because I played them to death off floppy disks back in the day. I think my average 'time played' per game is around 3-4 hours, and that's including 600+ hours of TF2.
Still, it's better than having a house full of boxes and digging around the stacks trying to find CD 2 for Morrowind again.
i dont feel bad about my 100 games anymore, thanks giantbomb community for showing me that im not crazy, well maybe a little, but not about vidja games
