Steam
Concept »
A digital distribution service owned by Valve Corporation. Originally created to distribute Valve's own games, Steam has since become the de facto standard for digital distribution of PC games.
How much is your Steam library worth?
Hah. On sale, like ten bucks. Steam does some crazy shit with pricing.
I mean, how do you rate the value of something that doesn't really exist and fluctuates in price by up to 80 or 90% sometimes? I've probably paid a four or five hundred on the hundred or so games on my list over the last few years, but that's not a representation of the value I got or anything else. I bought so many of those games just because they were one or two bucks at the time...
EDIT: It's actually 1.4K US dollars. More than I thought, but I was kind of an early adopter and I do buy some games on launch at full price on Steam (and often on disks I then import).
Also, I probably spend that much every year on console games, so...
pretty good. not the priciest collection i see though
$1409.90 USD
I'm in second place, and I'm primarily a console gamer these days... Jesus you guys all suck. :) Also; shortest steam URL? :D day 1 user
As many others I rarely buy game full price, so thats not actually what I payed
People should also note, however, that these are by current Steam prices, not full prices. My 238 games would likely be over $10,000 in release prices. So those of you saying you never pay full price, yes, Steamcalculator has accounted for that.

My old Steam ID (DreadLord) from Day of Defeat 1.1 (2003) got banned when I was using Steam cafe passes to download hundreds of games. :)
haha really? i had a friend who was doing exactly the same :D he also got banned." @faustyn: Steam URLs debuted alongside Steam Community which came out with Orange Box, in 2007. My old Steam ID (DreadLord) from Day of Defeat 1.1 (2003) got banned when I was using Steam cafe passes to download hundreds of games. :) "
also i forgot about the community thing :d sorry.
cheers
" @faustyn: I'm a steam member since November 29th, 2003 and I was pretty late compared to the people I used to play with. But as far as I remember there was nothing there, you just needed it to upgrade and play all the Valve games online.. so I don't really see a reason to write something like "day 1 user" @Rolyatkcinmai. "i know what steam was back then because i was using it so there's no need in explaining that to me. +Roly wrote that 'day 1 user' stuff so i don't know why you're even replying to me.
$985.44 for 48 games, but one of those is "Wild Metal" at $139.90 which I got through the Rockstar pack, which is a misleading price.
