The situation is a casual match up, no money/tournament on the line and two randoms fighting each other. With exception to certain prodigies we aren’t born good at SF. So the noob is paying his dues and knows he’s gonna lose a lot of matches before he gets the hang of things, until he meets the taunting rapist. The taunting rapist just loves to rush down and taunt, teabag the ground, etc when he dizzies an opponent. At this point one of two things will happen the noob will get so frustrated he’s just being clowned on and rage quits or after the taunting rapist wins the match, he messages the noob: “Just quit the game ya noob”. So objectively speaking, who is the bigger dick? The rage quitter or the taunting rapist?  

Taunting Rapist would be an awesome class in an RPG.

I taunt at every single possible chance, if only to show my opponent how much he suck. Taunting will enrage someone, but rage quitting is simply a crime against humanity.

Neither. Tauniting assholes lose more often then not, which is awesome. Rage quitters make me feel like I ruined their day, more awesome. 
 
Stop being so sensitive.

Approperate taunts at approperate times. 
 
Example: 
 
When I fight as Chun Li I use her taunt number one which is her saying "Sorry."  Ill use that when I interrupt the person I'm fighting's combo and deal a lot of damage in a very short amount of time.  I find it to be hillarious.  Other then occasions like that, I do NOT taunt. 
 
But on topic, The excessive taunters are anoying as fuck.

The rage quitter is worse, because you are actually leaving a match that someone waited to play. Taunting is tolerable, it's just mind-games. Like if this guy is taunting so much or throwing out random shit and still wins, I must be doing something wrong that allows him to still win.

I fucking hate rage quitters because I suck and get a win like once every 10 matches, only to find out the guy rage quit on me.

Started playing this again recently.  But at my new apartment my internet is very spotty so occasionally I get lag spikes and D/Cs just from my awful ISP.  Every session I get 2 or 3 "LEARN TO TAKE A BEATING OR GTFO" messages even though we hadn't even played a quarter of a single round at the time of the D/C.  "Oh no.  I was so threatened by that Tiger Knee that I blocked and punished that I had to D/C to save my sorry ass!"  No.  That isn't how it works.  
 
People should learn what the difference between a legit lag spike and a purposeful D/C is.

There should be a tally on rage quitters so you can avoid them. I'm not interested in playing with the guy who "suddenly got called to dinner and had to quit but would have kicked my ass" something like 20 times last week. He can play with himself.

Who should be hated most? The guy who taunts and taunts from full-screen trying to get you to rush in, but then ragequits when he realizes that you didn't fall for his pathetic mindgame and are about to beat him for the match.

I taunt every chance I get with Dan. "Wahooooooo!" Usually when it disconnects, my first instinct is to wonder if my connection is acting up or something. Quitting is just poor sportsmanship, though. Quit getting mad at video games comic.jpg, I guess?
