Topic started by hungrynun called "Pad to Stick transition." was nice. However, I'm opening this one up because I'm interested in getting a fightstick to play MW2. :P In all seriousness though, I've been trying to find a review by fellow GBers and I haven't really found one. The extent of my arcade stick experience is playing the Simpsons arcade game. The street fighter cab was either always crowded or their was some form of bodily fluid on the sticks that most likely had some new strain of hepatitis implanted on it. I'm playing on the 360 version. Thanks all.

Anyone have any comprehensive fightstick reviews?
You want to play Modern Warfare 2 with an arcade stick?"I'm interested in getting a fightstick to play MW2. "
People play Mario on dancepads. Don't judge the man!" @MacEG said:

I was actually looking for the same info last week and this is the best thing I found

" Also, if someone has a SNES controller that's been converted to work on the 360 for street fighter....... "
if youre going to convert any controller it should be the sega saturn one
even if sega decides to not make consoles, they should still be selling pads... they were the kings

The only review you'll ever need.

" Get a Madcatz Fightstick TE. There's your review. "This. It's the best stick out there (possibly short of an X-Arcade one, but my personal tastes put the TE stick above these anyway) and available at a decent price.
Never thought i'd recommend a Mad Catz product, but they absolutely delivered with the TE sticks.
madcatz TE, they're solid. SE's are cheap if you wanna use one to start out. Customs are expensive if you wanna go fancy.
I've build dozens of sticks, played on a TE, SE, Hori, and a few others. Used just about all manufacturers of parts, different buttons, layouts, joystick tops & gates, etc etc. IMO, the TE is the best "bang for your buck". Followed by any custom stick made just how you want from a good builder. And followed by the SE which gets extra points because they're so damn cheap right now.
EG: TE stick is like 100 bucks. We did a custom amboyna burl stick, dual board (PS3 & 360) using a rocker switch, all sanwa parts, custom art supplied by the customer, it was like 500 bucks to him IIRC. A friend of mine just bought a SE for 35 bucks off amazon as his beater stick. My personal custom stick was about 75 total in parts (ignoring labor, cost of tools, etc) single 360 board sanwa stick, seimitsu buttons, maple case, plexi, etc. really any of those options is very good and you wont be dissapointed. :)
Depending on how you feel about this guy he gives a review of just about every stick there is now. Yes, he's super whiney but he's been around a lot longer than most players and actually has used more than one stick. I personally have only used a Hori stick, and I really recommend that while someone else may have only used a TE stick so they would recommend that, we are both biased you can't trust either one of us.
Seriously considering buying a SE and modding it with Sanwa parts. Would this result in a better stick than the stock TE?
The TE has sanwa parts, so it would result in the same stick, only smaller (which sucks, I love how big the TE is cause I use it in my lap)" Seriously considering buying a SE and modding it with Sanwa parts. Would this result in a better stick than the stock TE? "
I also recommend the DSP reviews that StaticFalconer posted.
The TE stick is really good but I feel that the Sanwa stick is slightly too stiff for me and the buttons too loose. My other stick has full Seimitsu and I like it better. All about personal preference, you just need to try them out if you can.
