A revamped edition of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes with new characters, modes, and features. Designed with an international release in mind, all but one character from the original roster remains, as well as several fan-favorite new challengers.
Over at the Capcom unity blogs Tenebra a Senior online Marketing and community Manager for Capcom European branch confirmed that Capcom Vs Tatsunoku will also be released in Europe.
The article that leaked from Nintendo Power revealed some new information about the US release (winterish), a new name (Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars) and a possible online mode.
Awesome. I wonder what the pricing is going to be like. There are so many license holders involved, I can imagine this being a $60/£45 game, which is unusual for the wii.
If it has online they need to fix the exploits though, otherwise it will be ruined, at least in random matches. And it should get two new characters, one from Tatsunoko (no clue) and one from CAPCOM (Felicia? Claire?). Maybe a third from Nintendo (Zero Samus? Captain Rainbow?) ;D
Yeah they will have to, it would be pointless implementing online otherwise, nobody would take it seriously.
It could really do with new characters on the Capcom side. Alex and Saki are lame and could be replaced with much more appealing ones to Western fans. Hopefully this revision will make the game far better. I would say the original deserves 7.5 -8 in scores, if they work on fixing the flaws it could easily be raised to a firm 9. I hope that happens.
