    just pure awesomeness!!

The House of the Dead: Overkill, is a completely over the top, b-movie style, first person shooter with some of the best humor in any game. The story follows special agent G and detective Isaac Washington as they try to stop the evil papa caesar and his hoard of mutants (not zombies, dont use the Z word)
Each level has a completely different atmosphere and, for a wii game, looks amazing although you can't destory the environments. Sometimes, it seems that there is too much going on and the wii can't handle it and there's a noticible frame rate slow down, this tends to happen when there are a lot of mutants on the screen or the mutants are close when you shoot them, but this is forgivible.
The controls really make this game as you use the wii remote as a gun to shoot down the mutants, you can also get a hand connon which is just a plastic gun shaped wii remote holder which really adds to the experience.
The whole story mode only takes about 4 hours to complete but there's tonnes of replay value, you can unlock new weapons by beating the story and the directors cut modes and get money from your score to buy new weapons. the best way to get money is to sustain a long combo, increasing the number of points you get for each mutant killed, the combo keeps increasing unless you miss a mutant or your reach goregasm which gives you 1000 extra points for each mutant killed, but it's dificult to sustain a large combo with some weapons. all the weapons can be upgraded using the money earned from each level.
There are some seriously awesome boss battles in this which totally add the feel of the game, each one different from the last but once you get the pattern of the bosses, they're really easy to beat, especially with the automatic shotgun.
All wii owners should have a copy of this game, it totally utilises the wii controls and is one of the best looking wii games around. :D:D

      They met as adversaries... 0

The Nintendo Wii is blessed with yet another original on-rails light-gun shooter (without the Light-gun) in the newest outing of the House of the Dead series titled House of the Dead: OVERKILL. SEGA left the developing responsibilities to UK developer Headstrong Games for the first House of the Dead game not created by the Japanese publisher house itself. The game is a prequel to the original House of the Dead released all the way back in 1996 and is the first in the series to skip an Arcade rel...

There is a button that reads "More Mutants." 0

While scientists theorize as to why the dinosaur went extinct, nobody will ask any questions as to why the light-gun shooter is on the endangered species list of genres. Nor will PETA or the WWF have any remote interest into saving the breed of zombie/terrorist shooting simulators. The arcade, their natural habitat, was deforested by the loggers of Time. Their unwillingness to adapt to modern standards made the public bored in their cause, and left them to be devoured by their evolutionary super...
