    simply great

i didnt play very many games when i was younger..i barly played any..this is the game that got me into gaming..and that is somthing special..im sure every person knows the game that got them started and that game is very dear to them..this is my game for sure..

this game is rather huge..especially for a N64 game..i think this game is on par with games now on how big it was..now the game is broken up to two parts..first part you play as a kid..and you basicly get a feeling for the controls in this stage..the temples are way easier as a kid then an adult..though that said..it doesnt mean its so easy that youll blow threw it..there are some very difficult puzzles..they really make you think

as a kid you are looking for 3 spirit stones..you use those to gain the Triforce..once you get all those you head to the Temple of Time to gain the Master Sword..once you get this you become an adult..but in the time period you were gone Ganondorf, the villian of the game, he turns the once bright colorful land into a hell-on-earth time of deal..you set out to stop him

the contols in this game are what games now are based on..you use the Z button to target and use the stick to move, A to slash..this works amazingly well..very smooth..this is really the games strong point..if the controls were off this game would be awful

if you play through just the main story, itll take probably 10-12hrs..but double that if you do the side stuff..this game gives you tons to do..you can also blow hours upon hours fishing, riding your horse..or playing mini games..i think if you look at games now..i would compare the openiness slightly to Fallout 3..cause you can spend a lot of time doing nothing..which is a compliment

the story is truly amazing..very engaging..very easy to follow..which is great..games that have a lot going on tend to be confusing cause of their lack of explaining..though i thought the ending was little tossed together..the final boss i think is lame compaired to some of the truly awesome bosses you fight before it..but those are very small complaints

this game is what every game should look at..this game is perfect..the graphics were really ahead of its time..and still look great

people will be playing this game 50 years from now..and it will still be looked at as the greatest game of all time

Ocarina of Time has aged with perfect grace. 0

Ocarina of Time is without a doubt one of my favorite games of all time.  I wouldn't even know where to rank it.  It's probably not my favorite Zelda though, I would give that to Link to the Past without a hesitation.  I played through Ocarina of Time, from start to finish this week for the first time in 8 or 9 years.  I was amazed at how much I remembered, and that's a good thing.  Orcarina of Time is hardly a forgettable game.  This was the sole reason I bought an N64.  I eventually picked up ...

      Defining a Classic 0

It is hard to look at a game almost eleven years after it's release, and say something new that has not been said already. It is hard even define what makes a game like Ocarina of Time so memorable, so fantastic to gamers and reviewers alike. Not only is this the return of one of the greatest franchises in history, but it  is arguably one of the greatest games ever conceived.   IT is one of the timeless stories ever; rescuing a princess and embarking on an epic quest against the forces of evil...
