    A different take in a tough genre

    Tiny Toon Adventures had two things going against it from the jump. The game as a platformer, where we were in the beginning years in one of the biggest rivalries in video games, Mario vs Sonic. Games like Super Mario World and Mega Man 3 had just came out a year earlier. And this one hit the market on the same year as Sonic the Hedgehog, it was a tough going to stand out amongst all the competition.

    The second thing was that was a licensed game, with a theme that would throw off alot of people, especially older gamers.

    The game had a fun look to it, and some very ahead of its time animations on the characters, but it wouldn't stand only on that. The gameplay was just mediocre.

      With my last Nintendo Power Recap, I picked Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose for my next Quality Control pick. This was in part because I was a fan of the Tiny Toon Adventures TV series, and partially because I kind of liked the last Looney Tunes game I played, Death Valley Rally.  So, we’ll see how well this game holds up.
