I was curious since I haven't seen any coverage of him in trailers etc.

Is Lambert appearing in Conviction?
" who "Who.
" @Icemael said:From what I've heard (I've only played the current-gen versions, so I don't know for sure), you can't save him in the last-generation versions, and since those presumably are the ones that are canon..." Lambert died at the end of Double Agent. "You can chose to save him can't you? "
Importing saves would be a nice idea though I'd prefer it to have more meaning than the death, or life, of one support character.
" That dude better be alive, he was awesome so I saved him in Double Agent :( "Yeah, same here.
Ubisoft kind of backed themselves into a corner with two very different versions of Double Agent focusing heavily on multiple choices. The 360 version had a few different ways the game could end, but the original Xbox one had a single ending which was way different than anything else. I don't even think Lambert could die in the Xbox version, and if he could, it was in a very different way.
Yeah, all the ambiguity in the world could not cover all the events and endings.

In Double Agent, you were given the choice to shoot him or save him by shooting the guard in the room watching you.
If you saved him: Lambert is left alive in the holding room and is assumed safe because backup is coming.
If you shot him: The guard leaves the room and when Sam goes to examine Lambert, Lambert is alive. He tells Sam to stop the terrorists and Sam tells Lambert he'll be ok since help is coming.
Soooooo it seems he lived either way
" @jadeskye said:" @Icemael said:" Lambert died at the end of Double Agent. "Is that canon? ""Fisher killed him. It's TOTALLY cannon.
The Lambert thing bugs me because I thought it was a totally obvious choice. Of course Sam would save Lambert, because he goes and fucks up all the terrorists afterwards no matter what choice you make. But then again, if Lambert died in some crazy way in the last-gen version then that could explain it.
