Mark is an original character from the SD Gundam G Generation series. He generally pilots the strongest of the starting Mobile Suits.
Fa is a character from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. She is the childhood friend of Kamille Bidan and occasionally pilots the Methuss.
The rival of Amuro Ray, Char Aznable is perhaps more famous than his opponent. During "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam", he joins the Anti-Earth Union Group as Quattro Bajeena and becomes a mentor to protagonist Kamille Bidan. His final appearance would be in a climactic showdown against Amuro in "Char's Counterattack".
Kamille Bidan, considered the strongest Newtype in the Gundam franchise, is the main character of Zeta Gundam and pilot of the titular mobile suit. A teenager full of rage, Kamille fights against the elite Earth Federation forces known as the Titans.
Pilot of the ZZ Gundam, Judau Ashta was actually the first cheerful Gundam protagonist...and the first to do horribly in their initial fight. However, he improves vastly, becoming a major power in the First Neo-Zeon War.
Haman Karn is the leader of Axis Zeon (later known as Neo Zeon) in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and is the main antagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. She manipulates the Titans and AEUG before attempting to conquer the Earth Sphere.

Amuro Ray is the protagonist of the original "Mobile Suit Gundam" series and "Char's Counterattack" movie with a supporting role in "Zeta Gundam". The electronics geek stumbles upon the Gundam, a powerful prototype MS, during a Zeon invasion of his home colony.
Shiro Amada is the protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. He's no Newtype, not even an ace; he's just an average Earth Federation soldier who falls in love with a Zeon pilot.
Hayato Kobayashi first appeared in the original Mobile Suit Gundam as the pilot of the Guntank. He would later lead the Karaba resistance movement in Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ.
Emma Sheen is a character in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. She was originally a member of the Titans, but after witnessing their cruelty, defects to the AEUG.
Christina is a character from Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. She is part of the Earth Federation and is the test pilot of Gundam NT-1 "Alex," a mobile suit made to be used by Amuro Ray.
A cyber-newtype from Z Gundam. The experiments the Titans perform on her leave her with a mistaken belief that she is Kamille's younger sister.
Kai Shiden is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam and its sequel, Zeta Gundam. In the former, he pilots the White Base's Guncannon mobile suit; in the latter, he works as a journalist for the AEUG and Karaba.
Katz is a character from the original Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta Gundam; in the latter, he pilots the G-Defenser. He is overly reckless and generally annoys everyone around him.
Jerid Messa is a character from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. He shares an intense rivalry with Kamille Bidan, starting with an insult to Kamille's name (prompting Kamille to punch Jerid) and escalating into the deaths of their respective friends and loved ones.
Chara Soon is a bipolar character from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. She is cyber-enhanced into a Newtype towards the end of the series.
Domon Kasshu is the protagonist of Mobile Fighter G Gundam. The Gundam Fighter representing Neo Japan, he pilots the Shining Gundam during the Survival Eleven and the Burning Gundam (God Gundam in Japan) during the League Finals.
Heero is the main character of Gundam Wing and the pilot of the eponymous Wing Gundam. He is calm, stoic, and determined.
Loran Cehack (or Rolan Cehack) is the protagonist of Turn A Gundam and pilot of the eponymous Gundam. He is sent by the Moonrace to scout Earth, but grows fond of the planet and its inhabitants.
Puru Two, from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, is an Cyber-Newtype created by Glemy Toto. Although she is a clone of Elpeo Puru, she is much more cold and vicious than her predecessor.
The protagonist of After War Gundam X; he pilots the titular mobile suit and its successor, Gundam Double X. He quickly grows fond of Tiffa Adill after being hired to rescue her.
Lalah is a character from the original Mobile Suit Gundam. Saved from her harsh life by Char Aznable, she would later form a close bond with Amuro Ray; this caused the two men's rivalry to escalate.
Tobia is the protagonist of Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam; he pilots Crossbone X-3. Tobia joined the revived Crossbone Vanguard in order to defeat the Jupiter Empire.
Bernie is one of the main characters of Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. He is a young Zeon pilot that is sent to participate in Operation Rubicon.
The main protagonist in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam F91 and pilots the F91. In Crossbone Gundam, which is set years after Gundam F91, Seabook is known as Kincaid Nau and pilots the Crossbone Gundam X-1.
Four is a character from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Although she falls in love with Kamille Bidan, the Titans use the Psyco Gundam to exploit her Cyber-Newtype powers.
Quess appears in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. Despite being the daughter of the Earth Federation's Vice-Foreign Minister, she would defect to Neo Zeon and fall in love with Char Aznable.
A character from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack and Hathaway's Flash. He is the son of Bright Noa who takes a liking to Quess Paraya. In Hathaway's Flash, he pilots the Xi Gundam.
Kou Uraki is the protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.
