Seriously, horses? A story about AI or malfunctioning robots having turned against its masters?

Am I the only one who got distanced the more I saw of the trailer, only to realize by the end exactly just how utterly rediculous the game looks?

And are they using the same goddamn engine again? It's starting to look really, really outdated at this point. Jesus christ, those are some ugly fucking textures. I guess there's only one thing left to do...

This may be the first CoD game i will happily pass, unless there's a Vita version. I'd like to see a CoD on the Vita, but i'll pass on the 360 version.

Well, if the central point of the game's story is we over-networked everything and it all got hacked, we might be reduced to soldiers running away from the Terminator legions on horseback at some point in the game.

Hmm, was expecting something special from how excited everyone seemed about it. Still looks like COD to me, just with a new design. Disappointed it's the same old dated engine to, but considering it's late in the generation now that's no surprise. That said Assassin's Creed 3 is getting an heavily updated engine so no excuse really.  
 
Some of the vehicle design looks... sort of crappy and I'm not entirely sure why. I'll skip this one unless it's something very very special.

Seems kinda cool. I was intrigued by the idea of future stuff but never been a big fan of "future shooters" - luckily this seems to have a balance where it's future-ish but with fairly current weapons.

Huh. This is probably the most excited I've been about a Call of Duty game in the last five years. I'll be keeping my eye on this.

You know what? I really liked Woods, and it actually makes me kind of happy that he's still alive.

You know, if you cut the title reveal out of this video, you would have no idea its a COD game. Color me surprised, but I'm pleasantly looking forward to this.

For me this announcement is good but for some odd reason this thing has been done before. I think it is dabbing into Ghost Recon a Bit which kinda concerns me for a bit.

Well done Treyarch, just when I thought I was burnt out on Call of Duty, you go and take the biggest step forward for the franchise by setting it in the future, which is what I wanted after COD4.

As I said, I was hoping it take place around 2020, and 2025 is perfect, I'm interested. Also, how the heck did Frank Woods survive!? Also, while the graphics don't seem to be that much improved, it is improved just enough to make it still be a good looking game. You can see it in the way they have his face animate a bit more realistically.

well fuck me sideways, Treyarch managed to get me excited about Call of Duty.
