If your movements where being mapped 1:1 in real time for an custom avatar of yours in the screen that would be something, but instead what you have is a pre-caned animation playing while you try to mimic it? that's stupid.

I wonder how much of these dance moves are actually being interpreted by Kinect. Lots of wrist twisting and hand positioning for a product that doesn't track finger movement or placement in any way. So is this kind of like the poor/mentally challenged kid we have all seen pretending to play an arcade game without putting money in it?

Looks like Kinect works pretty well for something like this.  Now if they could only combine dancing and FPS'...that would be the shit.
