It wasn't until several years after, when I had actually seen some mecha anime, that I realized just how mecha anime Z.o.E 2 was. This intro went all the way as well, even had a naked girl floating in space for no discernible reason.

Anyhow, since I never played Z.O.E. 1 or owned Z.O.E 2, and it was quite a few years ago that I played that, I'm interested in checking this out.

The ZOE 2 trailer is still the best,
This one just seem out awkward.

2nd Runner is still one of my favorite games from the PS2 era. Way too short and with some severe frame rate issues but impressive nonetheless. The sense of mobility of the mechs in this game is unlike I've seen in any other game (before or after).

This trailer, however, is complete bullshit and doesn't do the actual game any justice.

These are some of those games, for me. I remember being really disappointed by the first game, but appreciating the concept. Only to have my mind blown by the 2nd Runner... even today, it's probably my benchmark for action games. Nothing has had that same speed and smoothness. HIGH SPEED ROBOT ACTION - being the subtitle? Whatever, it describes the game perfectly.

I look forward to being disappointed by the first game again, and then spending way too much time with the second game. Again! :D

I really hope you get access to the soundtracks, because those are really great for these games. (as heard in this video!)

All I want to know is if there is some space robot boning. That's kind of a deal breaker.

That's why the mech goes into full boner mode when it goes into flight mode. You know, so the pilot keeps facing forward. You gotta love it.

I never got to play through these even though I really wanted to, really excited for this, hopefully the quality isn't shit.

@RanmaRanma: Mine too. I occasionally break it by listening too much but it's been a while since I heard it last this time so it's all good again. That freaking trailer from way back when is also one of my favorites ever.

ZoE2 is easily one of my favorite action games of all time. I never got to play the first, though, but I'll be solving that soon thanks to this collection. And a MG Rising demo, you say? Sold.

I kept on skipping, hoping I would see gameplay at some point and not naked anime women :[

I want this inside either me or my 360 right now! Hopefully it wont suffer from frame rate problems like the second one did on the ps2. I never played the first and it looks like they're going to be remaking the first game in the style of the second where they use animated characters instead on 3d models. Fine by me!

So this is the new opening. Pretty damn good. The game looks so good too.

ZOE2 was literally a system seller for me so this is a insta buy.

The best Gundam game despite not having Gundams. I wonder if this will still be fun to play even if I grew out of that Anime/Mecha phase.
