This slick interview has given me this great idea for Double Fines next big thing -  
 
An action game that will feature the character of Jeff Gerstmann, voiced by Jeff Gerstmann, a proud journo who was wronged by the evil overlords at CNET. Together with his rag tag band of fellow Journos, Jeff must travel back in time to San Francisco circa 2007 to avenge his injustices and ultimately save the planet from mediocre video games. Riding their space neon lobster infused with magical powers, the team must do battle with the minions of Eidos Interactive and  the dead men of kane and lynch until they reach the headquaters of CNET for the final showdown against the vice president, a transexual psychopath , hell bent on subjecting humanity to average entertainment. Can our team of plucky journos alter the time streams and save humanity in its greatest hour of need? 
 
Ill leave the naming of the game to you Tim.

00:54 seconds guy with the hairy shoulders is one  of the most hilarious but creepy things I've seen. Also, Jeff's face when Tim pretends to punch the Scribblenauts director reminded me of the iPhone app commercial. This is such a fantastic video, and I hope Brutal Legend sells a bajillion copies.

This is the sort of stuff that just doesn't happen at other video game sites and the reason why I support Giant Bomb.  I didn't even know about the site until about a month back when we were talking about Jeff on the Gamespot forums (ironic I know) and they mentioned he worked here now. Fastforward to now and this website has so many amazing concepts like Endurance run, QL's, QL:EX's, these interviews and you really can tell that Giant Bomb is at the top of the hill for game content. 
 
Never stop doing what you're doing guys. This stuff is awesome.

I love how Jeff just casually mentions Bible Black in an interview with Tim Schafer.

A new kind of "Walk the Talk" really good. Had a great time watching it! The audio quality at first felt like it had a lot of noise.. but got adjusted to it (or did it get better?) later on.
 
I wonder if all the other high profile game design people are as humble and friendly as Tim. Also, The gaming scene is so big that so many people visit pax, many famous people like Tim might be walking around and people wont even know who they are.

This interview was awesome because Tim was cool and had opinions about other games without spewing marketing crap (Rock Band with Alex, Scribblenauts) and Jeff was asking some amazing questions that could or could not have been related to Brutal Legend.  
 
Its amazing what happens when two awesome guys just walk around and talk about stuff as a sort of off-the-record interview / booth tour.
