I loved and really enjoyed ME. The problems didn't really bother me. But If its really Mass Effect minus the texture popping, ridiculous loading (elevators) etc... plus better combat, I see no reason that this game can't win Game of the Year for many.

Looks like the sequel is coming along smoothly.  It looks good but my biggest concern after playing the first will be the class balance issue.  I remember around the time the first one came out everyone was talking about how Vanguards (maybe hybrids in general) were over powered and made most of the game pretty easy.  For that reason I made the committment to play the Adept class from start to finish and brother let me tell you it made the game a bitch to finish.  So hopefully this time every class will have better tools and incentives  to complete the game no matter what kind of player you are.  Other than that I'll be looking forward to it.

Can't wait, love the new interface. The PC version of Mass Effect was great and I know they've bought some of those extra UI features over to the ME2. 
 
Can't friggin wait!
