Giant Bomb at X10: Game Room

I don't know if I'm crazy or what, but something about this guy reminds me of Walter Day, and I don't think its merely the fact that they both represent retro games. His speech mannerisms and voice are kinda similar.

Maybe if they did some Master System & Mega Drive games I'd be into it.

So... since they did an "everything" emulator does that mean we can expect awesome Dreamcast titles like Project Justice and Power Stone to show up? I don't like the rewind mechanic, but everything else looks super awesome.

This is what makes MS so much better htan sony they dont kust spend a fortune on something and then have no clue what to do with it (Home) they build something and ad in the community features to link people together

HOW THE HELL DOES THIS GUY TURN DOWN A DREAMCAST EMULATOR!!!???

Its naive to say it, but it would be cool if they could just release these for free. Some kind of free area of the XBL main menu where you can go and play old arcade, it'd be an amazing feature. But otherwise, I don't see why i'd spend my money/points on a few hours of nostalgia rather than say, shadow complex.

Wait, so does Game Room have the ability to play Dreamcast games?

Despite his distracting shiny lips, that guy really knew how to sell me on Game Room without sounding too forced... he seemed genuinely pumped up about its release and he acted nicely too; we need more PR people like that.

This sounds/looks really awesome - until I remember that I have to pay for everything separately.  I just can't see myself buying those games - when I can get them all (even ones they haven't released) for free online.

I'd be interested to know just what the scope of these emulations is.  Some arcade games overstay their welcome pretty fast.  You going to be able to fiddle with the difficulty and all that?

Out of all the exclusive Xbox games Microsoft is too stuborn to port over to PC, they add a serivice where you pay to play classic games. When you consider how easy emulation is on PC it seems pointless. Gamerscore whores will buy it up.
