My suggestion regarding the final few minutes of discussion about how to expand this feature is don't. It's amazing as is and adding a chat feature will slow it down and reduce the amount of fun banter available. Giant Bomb's best videos are always when it's just the guys doing dumb stuff. Please keep it that way!

Agree with this. Polling chat for moves would really drag things out and detract from the guys roleplaying and doing their thing.

Brad stop letting Brad's feelings get in the way of Detriot Jones' cunning, rogueish thievery! His plotting adds an interesting dynamic to the group, no reason to feel bad about it.

The final boss should be Detriot Jones with everyone's items stolen powering him up :D Only through a V bomb beatdown will Jones have a change of heart and change his ways to become a trustworthy member of the party.

@rorie Might I ask... what's the name of that cider you're drinking? I can't quite get a good look at the label.

It's Wyder's Pear Cider. Pretty good, not the best, but good!

You guys should play Gamma World. That game is straight up awesome.

I've been wanting them to play Gamma World so badly ever since somebody mailed them that copy.

I was looking for other DnD sessions online and found this one kind of entertaining. This group tries to take on one of the most infamously dickish dungeons ever the Tomb of Horrors.

I don't know what program they are using, but I would love to try some online DnD with Giant Bomb community members (I've never played a real pnp RPG). I got sick of free MMOs where its a soulless number grind until you hit the paywall and I don't know anybody. These days I'm more interested in storytelling when it comes to RPGs.

Campaigns like this always strike me as implausible. Somehow each room is a random unsullied magical anomaly, with a unique fantastical ecology. What's preventing the spiders from eating the goblins, or skeletons from killing the spiders? Where's the pile of post-mortem nosy villagers, or previous explorers? Just what was the lobster eating to maintain its size? You have multiple apex predators in an enclosed space with insufficient food resources.

Im loving this show! Its hilarious! But minor gripe, Vbomb, while being a great character, Vinny kinda dominates every single scenario, maybe he should let the other guys play abit more.

I like the way you think. Details like this are what I appreciate about a really well-designed dungeon in day the Elder Scrolls or Fallout series. A little thought and subtle backstory go a long way to provide context and atmosphere.

One thing though... If reefclaws are at all like our real-world lobsters, they never diminish in size regardless of nutrient availability. Like many crustaceans, they only grow by molting. Because this process is energy expensive, molting is not initiated if the individual is under-nourished or otherwise stressed or in danger.

The question of what it ate to REACH that size prevails, but they are extreme opportunists and will eat almost literally anything. They will resort to cannibalism, will scrape microscopic algae from the substrate for days if that's what it takes, etc.

@rorie I hope it's ok do give you some GM Tips. Some of the rolls you should do for them without them seeing. Like perception checks and find trap checks ... That way they don't know whats going on and you don't get those "I check for traps 15 times" situations.

No, no worries. One of the big problems is that I don't have room for a DM screen on the table. Would definitely like to solve that problem going forward. As it is I try to make it pretty obvious in my body language when something is pointless for them to attempt.

There's a concept called Take 10/20. When time isn't a factor you can pretend they rolled until they got a high enough roll to succeed. Such as taking 20 to open a locked door when all the monsters have been beaten so it wouldn't matter in game if it took 15+ minutes.

For any of those just now watching the series and reading the most recent comments, the fourth of these was misspelled as "pathERfinder", so searches for "pathfinder" will only come up with three results.

Here's the link.
