Guitar Hero 5 - Gameplay Features

Looks like Guitar Hero.

Am I missing something? Looks like every other Guitar Hero game...

Wow, everything is ripped straight out of Rock Band. Guitar Hero sucks. Beside that I wish they would fix their ugly art style.

Wait, I didn't play GH:WT, but you couldn't bring back band mates that failed before?

I agree, they're ripping off Rock Band more and more. They're even gradually dropping that lame overall cartoony look they originally had for a slightly more classy look like Rock Band.

I dunno if I like it or hate it though, I don't mind if they rip off Rock Band a bit as long as they produce a quality product.

I play both Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Personally I prefer Guitar Hero, and I'm pretty exited about GH5, but mostly the soundtrack not really the new features.

Well, I'm unimpressed.

I'm excited for this, but I am a music lover so any way to get more Rock Band and Guitar Hero is good for me.

I'm so glad I play both games, no need to be a fan boy of either.

The former glory known as Guitar Hero has been beaten to death by the same company who beat Tony Hawk to death. O Well.

Umm... isn't a majority of that in Rock Band 1?  Also, how many Guitar Hero games have been released this year?  This is why I don't like Activision.  There's no innovation anymore.  The last Activision game I bought was COD4 in 2007 on release day.  I may buy the new MW2 but that's it.  I refuse to buy from Activision because none of it is interesting.

Looks like Rock Band...or maybe its Rock Band that looks like Guitar Hero. Or maybe it all looks the same and the instruments work for both franchises so everyone just shut the fuck up and play your plastic instruments

What a load of crap. Not only does it still look ugly and weird, it's not even stylised like GH 1 and 2, it just looks weird now, it's like someone literally smashed GH3 and Rock Band together. The not charts still lok aweful, those flashy effects STILL get in the way of seeing the note charts, and they've flat out ripped the HUD from Rock Band.

How low can you go? Neversoft, go back to making skating games, at least those were half decent, this isn't even an eighth decent.
