Halo Legends Debut Trailer

I dunno, the way it looks, I dont think we're going to be seeing much of Chief or much of the action. I have a feeling the Red Spartan, that Blonde Chick, is going to be the main character, and since it shows her out of armor alot,  I have a feeling it's going to be 75% of episodes explaining story while maybe 25% shows a small battle of some kind.

and I feel sorry for those that do, they shouldn't have to deal with this kinda of crap

A huge budget film is the only thing I would think is appropriate (like Akira or Miyazaki's work) and something I would enjoy. Being that the last Halo I really played was the original.... so I've grown up.

The transitions from ok looking CG to Animation makes me think that this is like the Animatrix. Bunch of short stories in different art styles.

I would not be at all surprised if this leads to the release of Japan only anime style Halo games, IF the anime series is a hit there. This changes all the rules. It's not just your daddy's Halo, anymore.

Looks pretty good so far, especially the BONES and Production I.G. shots. I still don't understand why Toei is involved in this.

Well duh, they finally figured it out. How does Microsoft sell Halo to the Japanese?  Answer, they don't! They let the Japanese sell Halo to Japan! Anime based Halo games will soon follow.

Ugh! They got "Emo anime," cheesiness in my Halo. I refuse to acknowledge this garbage. F'cking Otakus!!!!

Will it at least continue from Halo 3?

As long as the stories turn out to be canon according to the novels and stuff, this could be decent. Not the anime/cartoon parts though. Think the "1337" image up there proves that. But the CGI parts... looked decent.
The games aren't that good story-wise though, and most people doesn't know about the novels, or how much story there really is.
