Hydrophobia Trailer

Really liked this.  Would like to see it do well, and these guys get a full budget to make a full release, cleaned up.  Provided the story or characters have some hooks.
 
I do like the design on that girl.  It's like Jade Drake.

I saw a trailer for this a long time ago, but I seem to remember that it was set on an oil rig at the time and the trailer only showed off the water-physics.  Actually, I kept trying to find the trailer and for some reason all trace of this game had vanished.  Glad to see I wasn't imagining things. 
 
Anyhoo, this might be worth a look.  Hopefully, it won't just whore out the gimmick out too much.

Seems like an interesting game concept. Graphically, not that pleasing but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.  
 
With this, Battleblock Theater, Charlie Murder, Comic Jumper and more, this years's XBLA Summer of Arcade's gonna be awesome.

So it's in an apocalyptic setting and sounds kind of Russian and looks pretty janky. Does this mean we will see Dave playing it?

The water looked so dam good when they first showed of this game and it still is, but its taken so long that I feel a little disappointed. 

Why would someone who was afraid of water take a job on a cruise liner anyway?

That music sounds a little bit too much like wilderness music from Diablo 2.

The water looks awesome when its sitting still but it looks weird when its rushing.

I remember reading and seeing this many many years ago. I thought it looked like a cool idea. It still looks quite cool but the technology has advanced since then so the mindblowing stuff they did to water is not that mindblowing anymore. I'm quite happy that it's still in development. What supprised me was that it's now an XBLA game. When did that happen? If so then the game looks nice for such a game.

Seems like Biosho...rck.... dunno. Surely a wait and see.

Looks pretty good for an XBLA game... but it seems that the developers made some cool water physics and THEN decided to make a game based on them.

Kinda just looks like a Tomb Raider game set in Rapture.

I've never liked underwater levels. And why is it starring the generic chick from the Sapphire ATI retail boxes.

Looks like they're definitely aiming for that BioShock feel; and probably missing but I'm open to giving it a shot.

Holy shit, thats some bad voice-acting right there. To think people were pissed when the first Modern Warfare 2 trailers came out and had russian slang in it... this is like 100 times worse. Dude´s not even trying to pull off a convincing accent or something they call "acting".
I´d rather have no voice-acting at all if this is what I´m gonna get. The game looks pretty cool though.

At first it was like $60 for this? no thanks,  then I realized it's an XBLA title.     If its a bite size little game for $15-$20 I am very interested.    Really liked Shadow Complex, and look forward to more games embracing that full game look/bite sized approach.

i dunno, i think this looks pretty sweet for an xbla title. the thing that really bothers me here is, if the protagonist is hydrophobic, why is she working on a cruise ship..?

Needs more Hydrophobic Wizards who's sheer loathing of water is enough to levitate them to fly over it

I am intrigued. It gives off a unique vibe, to me anyway. And the music was awesome, if the game's soundtrack is similar I may well give this a go.

Bioshock meets Mirror's Edge in third person? Or am I the only one getting that vibe? ;d
