I looked up a video of those Icelandic horses they were talking about. Holy shit.

Maybe you noticed the difference in horses from the end of season 1 of Game of Thrones to the beginning of season 2, once they got beyond the wall. All the horses shrunk by a foot or more, since season 2 was shot in Iceland.

Man, I was wondering what camera Drew used. Been looking for a solid camera that isn't super expensive.

I like the coverage regardless, though this was no report of any fanfest or any con, so-to-speak of but as someone top there pointed out, Giantbombs trip to Iceland.

Out of interest I took a peek at the Fanfest schedule for 2013 and they had three days full of happenings from 10 to 10 (10:00-22:00), I haven't seen a single footage of that (no that I mind that much, since I'm no EVE guy, but I was expecting at least something game related, Dust 514 is mildly interesting) and those interviews did even less to me as actual game footage wood - after all we're about games here.

All I'm saying is I wouldn't mind random EVE/Dust514 videos or maybe even listen to the developers about the EVE universe.

@fminus: If you listen to the podcast you can hear them talk about why they didn't get much of that stuff. None of the EVE players would talk on the record about stories in the EVE universe because they were worried that their stories could be used for espionage by other corps. Which is kind of fascinating in and of itself. But a big part of why they went there was to get EVE stories, and nobody would oblige. As for the Con itself, cons aren't actually that fun to video. It's mostly just a bunch of people milling about, occasionally looking ridiculous. I don't think we're missing much on that front.

Really enjoyed all of the content surrounding the Iceland trip, and very much hoping to see you guys do some EVE playing on the site in the near future. The North Korea video is pretty much my favourite online video ever, so this being done in a somewhat similar fashion was exactly what I wanted.

This was wonderful. Drew could host a show on the travel channel or something.

You know, I didn't expect much out of this trip...boy was I wrong. This trip has given us some of the best Giant Bomb insight and content I can remember. Seriously huge props to Drew and Patrick and I really hope more stuff like this can happen.

Every time Vinny laughs I can't help but laugh along with him. His laugh is infectious. I love that man.

The truth is that the terms for e-mail in Icelandic literally translate to either 'computer mail' or 'electric mail'.

Also, that 'number witch' being the word for 'computer', it's actually closer to 'number oracle'.
