I have yet to play the beta, but damn, I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say the multiplayer online crown has been re claimed from Modern Warfare 2. Yet to see, but damn.

I didn't know Luke Smith was such a divisive character.  I think he's a funny dude. 
 
Halo Reach looks amazing.  I'm going to be all over this beta.

I just wanna put this out there, all the old 1up Yours guys were unfunny douches, but that's why I loved listening to them. :)

First of all, Reach looks awesome. Second, his glasses are pretty cool. Third, i can't wait for the beta.

I think this will be the first Halo I buy since Halo 2. I love that it reminds me so much of Halo Combat Evolved, but with extra awesome new shit.

Interesting that Luke talked about being able to differentiate armor abilities in multiplayer.  Watching the Ask Me Anything video I was wondering if that was something Bungie had considered.
 
In Team Fortress 2's commentary mode, the developers explain how they aimed to make what class an enemy player is, and what weapon they're currently holding, obvious from a distance.  The primary means through which they accomplished this are the game's very varied body shapes for the nine classes.  The Heavy is the big guy, the Scout is skinny, etc.  Every class can be immediately identified based on a silhouette alone.
 
What I wonder is if you can translate that idea as easy in a game like Halo, where everyone is kind of a samey space marine or space alien.  Luke noted that seeing an enemy with Sprint will be easy enough, and that the Commando (?) classes will have visible jetpacks, but will that be enough to accomplish the distinction they might want?
