PAX 2010: Portal 2 Co-Op Interview

That guy on the right looks somewhat familiar.

I'm actually starting to gain interest in this, but I still won't pay $60 for it.

Not sure how he got from jumping to gestures, but I totally do that constant jumping thing in games all the time. I blame Oblivion.

As always I have full confidence in Valve to release an amazing product. They never disapoint me.

aaaaah!  I heard the word "spoilerish" uttered and had to immediately stop the video.  I'm already going to buy this release day so I should probably just go into Portal 2 blackout mode.

Can't wait for this. Hopefully SteamWorks support on the PS3 includes my Steam friends list. 
It will be nice to have my 100+ friends list calling me "Pu**y" and "fa**ot" for playing a Valve game on a console.

They don't say anything we don't already know. But I like this attitude; Realistically the most likely place to find spoilers would be in user comment areas like this one right here, so you shouldn't even be reading this. Or writing for that matter. By the way, the robots are Chell clones. "

Having never played the first portal, but after seeing some of the game vids, I can say I'm still very excited for this game

@Zithe: The fact that you may not know who Chet and Erik are makes me feel old. But the world moves on, and that's all right. And I suppose they are indeed some Portal-ass Portal developers.

Cool. Does this have cross platform multi-player connection, like can I play coop on my PS3 with my friend who's using his PC? I think Value said that is something they want to do, and is something then can do through Steamworks on PS3. Can anyone clarify?

I'm looking forward to this game but I hate co-op, I'm a little disappointed that I might be missing half the game

No. Steamworks is going to be stuff like friends list, cloud saves, auto-updating, etc. Quite frankly I couldn't care less about PC-to-Console connections anymore. If anything FFXI proved that concept to be nothing more than one giant mess. "

Can't wait till this gets released, but I'm still unsure about co-op.
