@battlecraft: What exactly are you asking for in the context of this video? Abby went to Seattle for PAX, a place where many people go and decide to spend time outside of the show floor. She decided to shoot video of her day and edit it into a relatively short video for the site. Are you asking for fun stuff like this to not be made, or are you expecting anyone from GB who goes to PAX to spend all of their time in maelstrom of PAX crowds and only make any video content about that stuff? You don't have to respond this, I just want you to think about what you are asking for by the tone of your comment.

I prefer a good, old fashioned double chocolate glazed donut that is light and crumbly.

Also it’s super weird to see giant bomb wandering around my daily stomping grounds :)

No kidding - I live between Top Pot and the sandwich shop in the first half of the vlog.

Public Libraries are always cool to visit, they’re often some of the older buildings in a place and are totally free!

But that gum wall is gross, burn it with fire. Its like a monument to mononucleosis.

@d_w: The golf course they were playing on in this video is part of the Fortnite booth for PAX.

But if you want year round Seattle indoor minigolf, try the Flatstick Pub.

@battlecraft: Dude, you do realise this video was shot on a Saturday? Not content with GB staff working 5 days a week and want more out of them?

Working PAX floor is additional work, if Abby wanted to spend her Saturday not working then what's the problem with that? Additionally she filmed it and made content for the site (work) and she didn't have to at all.

@battlecraft: I don’t know what website you think your on... this is GiantBomb! The home of Dan eating chicken wings for 12 hours instead of going to pax! They hardly ever film show floors! Might I suggest IGN! With an attitude (and gift with words) like that you’ll be right at home!

@battlecraft: I've always wanted to see Seattle and Canada, both have a similar climate to where I live I think, I don't like hot/overly cold. I'm pretty certain I'll never get the opportunity to go to either of those places though (can't fly), so this was interesting for me. I thought Abby presented a fairly honest view of aspects of what the trip would be like, overall it's not a bad idea to have some new content available on the site when many of us have the day off.

@ybbaaabby Saw that museum and thought, "this sure looks like Frank Gehry's work!" and indeed it is. A couple years ago, I was lucky enough to go to Spain and I stopped in Bilbao pretty much exclusively to see the Guggenheim museum he designed. It's sheafed in titanium and looks awesome in the morning sun, reflecting all sorts of yellows, oranges and purples.

Enjoying these little vignettes immensely, ignore the haters!

@battlecraft: While I disagree with you, I support your ability to voice your concerns. The method in which you're doing it, however - thumbs down. Take some time to read over what you're saying. Try to determine what you hope to accomplish by what you're saying. If you genuinely want people to take your constructive criticism at face value, you might be better served by finding a different tone.

Think on the difference between "This video sucks!" and "I don't care for this video."

The former statement implies that the people (real life human beings, I'll remind you), putting their time and effort into the production, have poor taste. It also implies that the other people (again - real life human beings), who enjoy the production, also have poor taste. Do you understand why that might turn people away?

The latter statement implicitly states that, "While I don't care for this video, I am not actively attacking the tastes of other people for appreciating it." People are much more receptive to shared opinions when they're stated as opinion, instead of abrasively suggesting they're fact.

All that aside, I love this kind of content - if I wanted PAX coverage, there are a thousand places I can go. I come to GiantBomb because I enjoy the personalities of the people involved, and I appreciate the heart and sweat they put into their content. Much love.

@d_w:If you are a beer person, you might check out Flatstick Pub (3 locations now). They do indoor putt-putt, tabletop putt put (called duffleboard) and they have 50ish taps of local craft beer. One in kirkland (original, smallest), pioneer square (big space), South Lake Union (newest, haven't been yet).

Oh... that place is all about beer? That's a shame. I had looked up a couple places and saw that, but neither myself or my GF drink. Beer places tend not to like folks like us.

@janman You have good taste in donuts. Old fashioned glazed are the best. Also, super envious of the sandwiches you and @ybbaaabby had at that corned beef place, those looked delicious.

Those doughnuts (eh!) looked surprisingly pedestrian. As a Canadian if doughnuts aren't plain Jane varieties from Tim Hortons any other notable shops all sell crazy next level creations. Was kind of assuming you would be eating some, like, blueberry elderflower or something.

Super late and catching up, but thank you for this, @ybbaaabby! Lived in Seattle for eight years and somehow never did that underground tour, so that was super rad to see. (Also they built that library after I left; the old one was a five-storey concrete block, so, wow, that's awesome too.) Thanks for making this :D
