Rage: The QuakeCon 09 Trailer

Whaaaaaaat!? So pumped.

I'm just stoked to see another game from id Software.  It also helps that it looks f'n sweet.  Gives me a Fallout + Bioshock vibe, with some Mad Max universe (I haven't played any vehicle combat games to relate to).

More like this, please!

jesus wtf happened to this game, it looks bloody epic now, definately guna keep a keen eye out for this one!

I wonder if exploration will be a factor at all.

Looks really, really good. I can't wait to play this game. This and Gothic 4 is why I am going to upgrade this holiday. And man, those textures are unbelievable, but the animation is just mind blowing!

 
Holy shit id has been busy.

I am more interested in hearing more from Carmack's about the PS3 version and the whole EDGE article. 

Cant wait. Looks like what fallout wanted to be only fun to play ^_^ Adding this to my list of games to keep an eye on now.

Fallout: You thought I was done. My ass!!!!!

I'll be about done with Fallout and all the DLC by the time this comes out.

I don't really see anything mind-blowing here. Other than some nice graphics. I might pass.

I love how all id games look like id games. It's just something about how characters look in their games. @TheHBK:  "Animation systems" aren't how you gauge animation quality. Animation is an art, not magical buttonpushing. Valve has some good animators with emphasis on facial animation. Id clearly don't have the same calibre of animator on staff.

Better facial animation in Rage, from the looks of things... dig it.

At first this looked like a Fallout 3 type game but once I seen the actually shooting gameplay parts this really gave me a Doom 3 feel, which is awesome to me!

It looks very awesome.  I wonder what kind of online play it will have.

If Fallout 3 and Doom 3 had a baby...

Man I wish they had made a different game with this engine, such a waste.

it's interesting; they took some ideas from both Borderlands and Fallout. I think this will be an intense action adventure shooter for sure. 
 
But having the mutants look SO similar in some cases to Fallout scares me.
