And Glad Liu Kang is returning. Let's just hope he isn't the same dick he use to be.

Looks like he's a undead hell demon for a while, then goes back to being a good guy in the story as there's a proper older human Liu Kang shown in the story cutscenes.

Im really curious now as to who the final boss is now for this game, was totally expecting Liu Kang to be it, but im guessing based off the teaser for the system of a down tv spot, its either Onaga, or a Demon form Shinnok

Also looks like at 0:40, that the actor that played Wei Shen in Sleeping Dogs voices Kung Lao.

They finally stopped teasing "Who's Next?" Guess they couldn't nail down that Bill Goldberg license after all.

I am not against violent or elaborate fatalities, but these look like overkill...

Where is the elegant simplicity of just punching the head out of a guy?

To no ones surprise whatsoever they'll just bring back anyone they want as a zombie/whatever just like they always have, no idea why so many people worried about characters being dead and not returning, it is a fighting game afterall.

Also, I think the game generally looks pretty fun, but I can't get over this cross gen gap, it looks so underwhelming visually in every possible way. Hardly much better than MK9 looked.

I really don't like the X-Ray moves. I feel they make the Fatalities less impactful.

I wish they would make another mythologies game, starring Scorpion. The Sub-Zero one was great...

I got really excited when the title said return of the shaolin monks. I thought they meant there was a sequel to the old xbox adventure game.

But then I found out it was just MKX.

Lui Kang giving Raiden shit about his terrible visions from MK9 is great. The "thunder god" really needs to be brought down a peg or ten.

Damn. I came into this trying my damnedest not to scream out in joy for what I thought was a MK: Shaolin Monks sequel.

This is the first MK to have fatalities to actually make me cringe uncomfortably. I think it's all the gurgling.

I would buy this game twice if I could play through it as Method Man and Inspectah Deck while 'Triumph' looped in the background. That would be my game of the year.

Damn this game for actually looking good! Ive always regretted buying MK games. I just lost interest so quickly with them every time I bought one :-/

Actually thought this was a trailer for a new Shaolin Monks game.

The fatalities in this game...are fucking disgusting and gruesome, love it.

I don't know, man. Without those visions, Liu Kang and EVERYONE ELSE was destined to die, and Shao Kahn would have been utterly victorious. Not to say that past-Raiden handled the visions in the perfect way, but he did save the universe from certain doom. That hot-headed Liu Kang was sorta asking for what happened to him. When the god of thunder tells you to step-off you do it.

Everything I see about this game. (MKX) has me convinced its not going to get a release in Australia.

Results matter, and ultimately may be the only relevant thing, but I think process is important for continued success. It worked out for Raiden, but I think he was being incredibly cavalier. I'm thinking at the very least there will be consequences to what Raiden pulled off in MK9.

Looks like Onaga is coming back to rip shit up. Glad to see it, felt like both he and Shinnok got fucked over as lead bad guys since the games they appeared in weren't the favorite games in the series. Both seemed like good characters that they never really did much with.

Thought this was a Shaolin Monks sequel for a second and got really excited. Now I'm bummed out.
