Kojima really needs to get into screenwriting/directing actual movies, so that when they are released he can realize that he's truly a half f**king ass creator of over the top stupid content with other people building the mediocre gameplay that surrounds it..

Why is this delayed in Europe? It can't be the different translations they do, because those are already done. Other games make it on time with 15 different subtitles and 4 spoken languages and still come out at the same date here as in the US.

Has Konami given any valid statement on why they're doing this?

Wheres my damn MGS4 Subsistenance Konami?! With trophies! Anyways I wonder how they handled the cutscenes in this, since you cant really upscale them like the rest of the games.

@Branthog: Do it! Yeah they all have some lengthy cutscenes but they are usually pretty interesting. If you do end up getting a copy, you'll realize what lengths Kojima had to go to in order to wrap up the entire series in MGS4. Shit's crazy.

Just ordered it from the US as it doesn't release in Europe till next year!

There are so many games out this year, so this is really the first time I recognized these. This is awesome, and like the God of War PSP collection, I want these. AWWW man! This, Ico collection, God of War PSP collection. Damn! I love video games.

MGA1 has the mos.. erhm.. humble cutscenes, but the story codecs are pretty long and live action footage of nuclear tests are loooooooong. MGS2 starts the cutscenes crazyness and MGS3 can make a grown man cry. Peace Walker is for PSP so I can't say, didn't play it yet. BUT NOW I WILL.

@mr_shoeless: You are better of getting mgs1 on psn, and then this before playing 4. It really is a game for fans, you wount get allot out of it unless you have played the other games. Characters, plot ect. MGS4 is all about fanservice and tighing the knots of a long running franchise.

Pluss, mgs, mgs 2 and mgs 3 are all fucking great games.

@Branthog: Yeah, all of them do. It all started with Metal Gear Solid (the original playstation release) and they kinda kept it going for every other game after that.

@Lydian_Sel: If you're gonna play them in order, yes. Which means you probably gonna have to download Metal Gear Solid from the psn store. Just jumping into MGS2 would be a shame without playing the original.

Why is the video only 360p? We could watch videos of the PS2 version and get higher quality

I just got my copy, I wasn't expecting it till next week!

I'm pretty excited, except I wont be probably playing it till just before christmas. I'll put it away and wait for it's compatriot for the 360, Halo HD. I'm going to double shotgun those 2 games...

Just finished Peace Walker on psp and I thought the story was completely average compared to the masterpiece that was MGS3. I also really liked MGS2 so it seems as if I'm in the minority on that stance. This makes me cry though that I bought the trilogy on ps2 2 years ago.

@Benny: Dunno if someone already replied to you, but that's not Solid Snake in the title shot, that's Naked Snake for MGS3. Its not too obvious, but its him. I think that the blue bandanna makes it confusing.
