Skate 3 Trailer

So.....no new moves? Just "community"? I love the skate franchise....but I really cant see much of an improvement.

At 1.24, that guy is surely dead.

So...who won?

These games got way too frustrating at a point for me that i just didn't want to finish it

I have a question. Why is every single Skate character, without exception, a massive bellend?

Teams Fresh and Hesh? They got creative there I see.
 
And whats the deal with the guy luging at the end.  They go off the ramp and he's standing up?

Damn, that back tattoo to that one guy on Team Fresh is horrendous.
I'm gonna play as him and throw myself off cliffs.

I want to be in the last crew.

I loved the hell out of Skate 2, but I don't like this whole "TEAM UP AND SKATE!" thing.

I hope they don't start overly concentrating on story. Don't get me wrong, I loves me a story and all but, as the Tony Hawks series has taught us, Story can make a game suffer pretty bad (Here's looking at you Underground 1 & 2)

The only thing about Skate that sucked was the multiplayer, so I like where this is going. They would have the team names rhyme, though.

I knew somehow the greatness of "Skate." would never go anywhere worthwhile. Lets just hope the series doesn't get as bad as the Tony Hawk series.

Looks like that 'beat my points' mode from THPS... with other people watching.

Oh man, that looks awful. It looks exactly the same as Skate 2.

I couldn't really get into the original Skate but thought they cleaned up a lot with Skate 2. That said, I think EA would have to make a lot of changes to get me into Skate 3.

This is a really bad way to create hype for a game

Sorry to see it looks like they're Tony Hawking this franchise. Skate 1 was great and 2 improved just about everything from the first really making it feel like the definitive skating game. If all they're adding is "character", than no thank you sir. I remember the first skate footage I saw was just gameplay of a skater doing some unexageraterated tricks and it totally sold me. This is unfortunate.

Meh, looks like I'm skipping both Tony Hawk and this game this year.

This looks bad, don't they realize this was one of the reasons the Tony Hawk franchise died off? 
 
Seriously, Team Fresh vs Team Hesh? Could that sound more dull.

Man, I fucking loved skate 1 and 2. Really, i still play skate 2. but i can't help but feel that graphically, this just looks bad. you can't jsut keep recycling the engine, adding new environments and calling it a new game. I remain cautiously optimistic, but part of me feels like this is where the series nukes the fridge.

For those jumping to conclusions over this trailer, just because they don't focus on new moves, in this particular trailer, doesn't mean there aren't any. Why would  they blow there load so early? Also a brand new city and new features,  justifies a new game. They had decent post game DLC support for Skate 2, unlike with Skate 1.  To expect every developer to be like Criterion and release a years worth of DLC after launch is unrealistic.

The skate team thing could potentially be interesting, as my friend and I had had a ton of fun doing the freeskate challenges in Skate 2 together, but this trailer honestly doesn't do much to get me excited.

You mean "Madden Syndrome". It is standard fare for an EA Sports title, which both are. "

At around 1:12 that guy lands that Air Walk pretty high up. I wonder if the landing retrictions have been played around with because you couldn't land anything that high in Skate 2 without a sloped landing zone.

Hesh vs Fresh? More like white guys vs black guys. Anyone else notice that? Skate 3: Race Wars.

Nothing will ever topple THPS4 :P

meh, i love skateboarding games, but this yearly games fever is making  the skate brand, pointless.

Airwalk down a stairset? serious?? Even the Tony Hawk series isn't that revolting. I don't see Skate's original audience (actual skateboarders) being even remotely interested in this mess

When the first Skate came out, I remember being really impressed with how fluid the animations were. What happened? Did everything get choppier or am I having a nostalgia attack?
